Also does it takes too much time for a appli to get installed as i have nice speed over internet but still its taking time to let the appli installed in my Wave.

raj, 17 Aug 2010press and hold the volume key,it goes to silentYes i tried that too yesterday but then when your ringtone volume is full, you need to wait it for long to get down to 0level thus its a lengthy process compared to one touch silent mode in others. Still i think i will have to get used to turning my phone upside down, else there's no proper way.

Anyway, if you find it more feasible, just hold and press the volume down key for half a second and done.

Blue, 17 Aug 2010Maybe i have to go through all options to prove myself wron... moreby disabling the autolock it does not lock the device.when screen goes off u have to press the menu botton to see the lcd in action.In ur case u r tapping on the screen when display goes off and thinking that the device is locked.please check this and give the feed back.I think iam write.

And also the samsung app update problem that i was getting is solved now, also there are some real good applications so i think Wave is quite boring in long time without that store, hope more & more applications are added.
And JP, sorry, the autolock disable function is working.

And whenever there is a call, cant i silent it? i mean thats most common thing in Sony, Moto & Nokia, in Nokia whenever there is call, the left key is for silent. I used it frequently, so do i have the same in Wave?

gill, 17 Aug 2010i tried installing the google maps as given in badaforums t... moredo not try to download it through phone. Download it to computer first. unzip the file using winrar. There should be 2 fhe put these two files into the mobile phone. Then install the application using the .jad file.

And you can transfer all the contacts to MMC or vice versa from phone in any Nseries atleast what i have(N85,82 &79). I know the option of 'register to contacts' but you need to use that option for a single contact & not for the whole bunch of contacts.
And that disable autolock function which i tried is no different in either ways, either if its green or grey, no change, once the display's light goes off the it get lock by itself. So any other option.
And thanks for that predictive input option, its working now, it was really needed to me.
Forget Apple, no need to copy Apple's negative, other than that almost all companies are providing Hot swappable MMC slot which is very useful when you need to change MMC's.

2. It never happens to me. I think you have more than 1300 sms.
3. File Manager? Only WinMo wins here. Still better than iCrap.
4. Media browser is ok. But yes. it should have show only photos or videos.
5. Notifications? Quite a decent one. Did you select "show content?"
6. Earphone icon is there for sure.
7. Office docs editing: It will come soon. You can't ask too much. Wave is only about 3 months old.
8. Good.. that makes sense.
9. Come on! Use "Smart Search for that"
10. *#0*# , sensors or download "Compass" app from the store.
