Swype for Bada! Bada 1.0.2! Wow, things to look forward to...

Now if only the servers in Asia would let us update again...a lot of us still keep getting the "device doesn't support firmware upgrade" message instead of the usual "there is no update available for your device" that we used to get. I wonder what's up..? I wish someone from Samsung would post. Service Center people here don't seem to know what's up either...

Anonymous, 11 Aug 2010Are some guys here Sick??? I am not advertising any Nokia'... moremy dear... yes wave has single led flash but i think it is brighter and stronger than dual leds of many mobiles including n97, 5610 etc as that uses greater power..
its like this... 100 watt single bulb(wave's flash)
              and double 40 watts bulbs.=80 watt(nokia n97)

And Voila !! It happened as if the line had been somehow choked by something and it opened up as soon as i forced my mail out and I got all those mails at once and the push sync has been working like a charm since !! :D :D :D

And I too am using a TV out cable that is meant for Nokia 5800. :) The only thing I have not checked out is the DLNA. Too lazy to find my TVs manual !! ;)

I woul... moreAside from being able to use any 3.5 audio headphones or connectors, I'm also using an unbranded ("class A" they call them here in Manila, apparently referring to reliable knock offs of originals) TV-out cable that's meant for Nokia N-series phones, to connect the wave to the AV-in terminals of TV sets when I'm on travel, at a friends place, or to the av terminals of lcd projectors when using the Wave for presentations.

All 3.5 audio peripherals of my iPods also work with the Wave. Maybe that guy's making the mistake others did of not pushing the plug all the way in? Maybe he's not really citing any references?

Btw, for those in Manila, those class A N-series TV-out cables are available in Phone Twist at level 5 of SM North EDSA annex (Cyberzone) for just P300 (P270 when there's a sale).

irvinehooi, 11 Aug 2010Ops....sorry I miss out my question for previous post. C... moreIf you're worried about data charges, create a dummy network profile (all fields blank) in Settings>Connectivity>Network settings>Connections. That way, the Navigation Apps will only be using GPS and wifi if its available. I use the same dummy network profile for internet browsing, so that only wifi is used. I just switch to my telco's provided settings when there's absolutely no wifi hotspot available and I really need to go online

Anonymous, 11 Aug 2010Does Wave supports all headphones or Auxillary inputs in it... moreCan you please cite the source of that information ? I would like to report it. Because it supports everything with a 3.5 mm plug. I use it with the earphones I have got from samsung, my creative headset (neckband), creative 4.1 speakers, my portable x mini 2 speakers ( you gotta have these ) when I am on the go.

                            So please. Cite the source.

Country maps are free, other maps require some form of fee. Once you download the maps and sync your GPS device (the Wave in this case) in Route66 Sync, when you next open the Navigation app on the phone, you will now have the proper map/s on your device and not just the default world map that pretty much doesn't do anything useful for you at all. :)
