i agree, atleast 1100 doesnt have reception an... moreI dont know if it is the best, but it definitely is the best in its price range and most definitely the best phone I have ever seen and used. :)
I have nothing against nokia. I have used alot of their handsets (read : appx 90% of all phones I have used were nokia) and I have never had a problem with them. But none of them commanded my attention like Wave has. Love at first sight

This would be the perfect phone, if only it had text reflow... and the somewhat small screen (3.5" would have been great)
I can live and be happy with all other faults on the phone save text reflow..

i agree, atleast 1100 doesnt have reception and lag issues which are becoming common in Nokia phones....
and ..... WAVE cannot be compared to any of the Nokia phones, as in terms of design, speed, music, camera etc WAVE is already ages ahead of all nokia phones.

Am hvg issues with internet connection when connected to wifi. The phone can connect to wifi easily but cannot browse the internet, error message "DNS Fail".
Currently Samsung Svc Cntr asked to bring in the phone to their centre for further checks. FYI, we can surf the net with GPRS on the phone. Will update on the outcome later.

Picsel viewer of Samsung Wave couldn't open PDF files larger than 10 MB .... Is that True ?
I am about to buy the WAVE but this issue could stop me

Looks like Samsung will release the bada OS v1.0.2 soon with the firmware version "JH1".
This version seems to allow user to set "Message" and "Email" alert tones individually.
And one of the member over here "scoopyscoopy" is trying this latest firmware.

(Sorry, Had to write it in caps so others with the same problem would notice. I had no intention of shouting ;) )
Go to main menu >> Games and more
Then click on "...", click on "Use virtual keypad", and then Un-select Opera Mini. Save
Then Try using Opera mini and see if it looks a bit different. ;)

mokh, 11 Aug 2010why i cant download any file by the mobile browser ? it s... moreopera mini in java works great on the wave. some may find it visually unappealling, but i guess use dolfin for regular browsing and opera just for downloading specific content...at least for the time being, until they've added that feature to the dolfin browser

Kal, 11 Aug 2010You can't compare wave with Nokia 5800. Its like comparing ... moreKal, actually 1100 is the phone that has been sold more than ANY other cellphone by ANY brand in the history of cellphones with over 200 million satisfied customers (including me in my school days) !! =)
Where as N97 was the biggest blunder Nokia ever made. The reviewers called it "A Trainwreck". Nokia lost alot of customers because most of the people who bought N97 at such a high price did not want to trust nokia again !!
So based on numbers and customer satisfaction, 1100 is wayy better than N97.
Just a stat lol. ;)
