How much RAM does the Samsung Wave have?

I was having problem with Wave battery life, it was only giving 2 days battery backup at the best. I tried to look for any settings on the web but nothing found. Yesterday, I found some information posted on Samsung Mobile Community website and it says that the battery can last for 4 days if we enable this mode
"Wave is operating in the wrong mode which is what is making the battery drain down so fast. Anyway, was told to key in *#8740# when you do this you will see a message saying something like "AP UART mode enabled" if you key in the code again this will toggle the phone into "CP UART" mode. You should be in AP mode to extend battery life. Just key in the code again till the phone says "AP UART mode enabled"
Well, I have enabled the AP UART mode and waiting to see if any battery backup is increased, will update the results soon

Anyway, I got a 3G connection and Its giving me the same problem while using Mobile Ap. It says "Cant connect to packet service".
I even called Mtnl care and asked them to send me the settings for wireless tethering. Sadly, No1 there knew what Wireless tethering is. :(

Wen i tried installing kies on my PC it gave some error.
Plz tell me how to install kies????
shud we install kies first and den connect the mobile through USB or shud we connect mobile first and then run the CD???

plz i was useing the samsung app. from my phone and then the app. toled me (fatel error the app. need to be removed ) now the samsung app. icon removed from the phone any help to restore it back

at first i have the same battery issue. luckily the store owner is my friend and he replace my battery with a new one . i set the brightness at 1 disable 3g and stop watching hd videos on phone. now it gives me 3 and a half day easily.
i generally talk one hour a day 20 texts 10 picture 2 hour of music in hands free still it gives me 3 day.

after having the wave over 20 days now and after doing a lot of reading i realized that there are a lot of people with battery issues and samsung should make an annoucement about it . i charge my phone all night and by noon i have no battery. and this is the case with manyn many other people. i ve tried evrything that has been suggetsted to do but no results whatsoever.

jp, 08 Aug 2010Some update on battery life: I'd been getting barely two... morewhen buying new mobile phones, you need to empty the batt until it automatically shuts down and then charge it for 10-15 hours or so, you'll soon realize why did you do that.. my wave's batt lasts for 3 days in regular use(including taking pics and videos, some wifi sneaks).. i bought my samsung wave at SM North Cyberzone.. Lucky they have a good batt, sometimes, store owners replace a new batt into some class A batteries.

I have got only 2 screens on the homescreen after the upgrade. However there is no problem with the screens in menu. I have got as many as 8 screens.
And ya i have tried all sorts of wallpapers including the default ones but to no avail.
I dont know how to delete the homescreen and reinstall it. Kindly tell me how to do it, if it cud b anyway helpful.

I have just upgraded the FW of my wave from JE7 to JG2. Surprisingly, I lost the audio portion of the dictionary application that I downloaded from Samsung Applications Store. Of coursed I tried uninstalling & reinstalling,to no avail.Any Wave owners have advice to offer?

My experience with the Wave battery is as follows:
When I first got the Wave, I immediately charged it BEFORE I even got home. So I charged it only for an hour or so while having dinner. Then I went home & charged maybe for 2-3 hours until the phone told me that battery is full. During the following two months,I never charged the battery after the battery full message appeared. I also charge by USB for a few minutes when transferring files a couple of times a week.
It has been two months since I owned Wave. It now lasts 31/2 days with moderate usage(20min on the phone + 15min viewing photos/listening to songs/surfing net per day.

hi wavers, i had my wave for like 4days now, the battery life is starting to improve before it used to last like 15 hours, it has restarted 4 times ever since (the fourth time being write as i'm typing), should i get a new handset while i still can or stick with the one i got..and i had the problem where i checked the battery and it was at 43% then i turned it off and switched it back on, and the battery said 16%...right now the battery was at 36%, it restarted and now the battery says 6%

hello i have just bought my new wave and the only problem that i have is with the IM..i cannot connect with it so i will be able to sign in with the windows messenger..can anyone explain me please what i will have to do with this??

Battery life took a nosedive after enabling twitter ,it would drop about 50% in a day and the phone seemed to be using the internet almost continuously. Used up about 20MB during the day outgoing but hardly any download. So I disabled twitter and turned off Push Sync under Accounts. Battery usage went back to normal and the phone stopped sending random data completely. There is some sort of a bug related to IM.
