          my Samsung Apps icon stopped workin after i did the update when i started it for the first time..and now i deleted it cuz when i launch it > "fatal error..delete yes or cancel" how the hell can i get it back?!! :s

Including ... moremate i didnt know that about the m4a files.thanks for the reply anyway.at least now i know incase it happens to me.lets hope theres an update soon to sort it out.still think you should exchange your phone if its turning off and for the browser reloading though.NEW WAVER seems to think the same thing and the truth is he has helped alot of people here.seems like areal good guy.

                Is there any NEW FIRMWARE after JF2 in India? Checked with the latest Kies but it said, 'The device does not support Firmware Upgrade'. What the f**k does that mean?

                  Wave is the best phone i've ever had. Its awesome. Screen is gorgeous so as the sound quality is loud and clear. UI is so fast. Lasts for 5 days. I'm very much happy. Samsung rocks. Wave is cool.. 10 out of 10 from me.

Did Globe prompt you to download settings or you got them from the net? Did you change sims? If from the net, double check na lang if the settings used are correct. I use myGlobe INTERNET, here're the settings details if you want to cross check with yours:
                      Access name: internet.globe.com.ph
                      Auth type: Normal
                      User ID: [blank]
                      Password: [blank]
                      Protocol: HTTP
                      Home URL: http://www.globe.com.ph
                      Proxy address: : [I erased all other values and left the colon, so that it knows that the proxy port number also is a blank value since there's no separate entry for port number]

                        anyone who wants to know abt waves multitasking check this screenshot out. i am able to run nfs and real football and daily briefig and 3widgets (buddies now ,feeds and updates,accu weather clock) and message inbox all at the same time

Then 3rd "Unable to use packet data". myGlobe INTERNET and myGlobe INET are the two settings I tried. I'll call Globe later.

                          I have no intention of converting my tracks back to mp3 :-( Much of the info has already been lost during compression. Kies will decode and re-encode it again. No, I think I'll pass. I'll just wait for a FW update.

                            I have 16GB mem card.In settings- Applications-Installation settings selected default installation location Memory card. In memory default memory I have selected all memory card. Still I am getting the same error "Maximum number of applications reached. uninstall some applications and try again (0xffoc)"

You're right, equalizer settings and 5.1 work in mp3 and wmv files, but has no effect on m4a files. I know it sucks to have to re-encode your music library, but if you connect wave to Kies via usb in media player mode, you can transfer your m4a files with the option of converting them to mp3, at least for the phone. You can wait for a firmware upgrade, but I've noted that it's usually just Apple that makes gadgets with full m4a capability support, most devices have limited functionality. I switched from encoding in m4a to encoding in mp3 when iTunes added that feature because even my car doesn't display m4a track info. Maybe you should consider it...

                              For mobile AP, first make sure that in Settings>Applications>Internet>Internet profiles, you have the check mark on the profile with your service provider's most reliable service (I myself have a dummy profile that's active so that I'm sure all apps use wifi, I just switch to packet service from this menu when there's absolutely no hotspot). Then go to Settings>Connectivity>Mobile AP. Here, make sure that you have the indicator button on the heading switched on (green). I think it automatically shuts off when you exit or don't have any device connected after a period of time, so I also made the mistake of thinking it was already on and my computer can't see it, til I noticed that the button was grey. Tap it to switch on. Check Settings: Tethering should be on. "Hide my device" should be on if computer is connecting for the first time and note the password (you can change the AP name and Password from here as well). Search the AP broadcast from your computer, connect and you should be good to go. The signal indicators on the upper left corner of the phone should tell you what type of network you're using (G for GPRS, E for Edge, 3G for HSDPA, 3G+ for HSUPA), with an orange right arrow superimposed on its lower portion to indicate that you're connected with packet data.

                              That's it. If it's not working, check with your service provider if you have the right settings for internet modem. Some providers provide settings that may work on browsing from the phone, but have a different setting for tethered computers. Ask for the dial-up/internet modem settings. For example, here in the Philippines, Globe Telecom has the "myGlobe Connect" profile for phone browsing, while "myGlobe Internet" is a profile for computers using your phone connection (you can connect your computer through myGlobe Connect, but most of the time it will be very slow).

                                        hi wavers... just have the wave and still on the process of familiarizing my self to it... here goes... can somebody tell me how to view youtube videos on my device... i'm able to open the site but when i click on the video the page load and stays blank... any help will be appreciated... thanks...
