These are still archive files in the lower versions. Unrar/Unarchive these files then drag and drop them to the Kies and SamsungUSBdivers directories. I hope this will solve your phone not being detected.

Wave has the best battery ever. It can last 4-5 days, while other smart phones can hardly last for 2 days. Wave is the battery life champ of Gsmarena!! Champ Wave beats any other phone in terms of battery life anytime.

I guess the more-than-a-million buyers, in one way or another have said something here. From this page to the last page, i can count with my fingers and toes those complaining about the Wave, be it battery and/or anything. So 20/1,000,000+ That is statistically very insignificant!!!

Wave is the best ever phone ever made. Only Samsung can make such a good phone.
Nokia is out of the Smart Phone market.
Nokia can never make such a fast and fluid phone. Nokia sucks big time in terms of touch screen smart phones.
Laggy buggy Symbian-Nokia is no more. Its time for the Wave and Bada.
Wave kick N8 out of the market.

My laptop and pc both install from samsungapp website, but only pc which is run Win XP can detect my phone, my laptop which is run Win 7 cant detect at all. I tried to uninstall then reinstall again on my laptop, still same.

[deleted post]U are talking about the sales person. Who cares "AS FAR AS I KNOW " from you. U ARE NOT AN EXPERT. I am talking on my practical experience.I Own the Wave. It is almost 2 Months now. I get a great battery life after conditioning the batteries for 6 cycles. Now it lasts for 5 days of moderate use.

I am having this phone form last 3 weeks. I hv few q... more1) How to select multiple lines of text while typing a mail (for copy paste).
- Tap and hold on a text and placeholders with a context menu will appear. You can drag the placeholders to mark start/end of your selection. Then click on the context menu for copying/cutting.
2) GPS is not free of cost (not even month trial for indian customers), but I saw some torrents on web for downloads, has any one tried?
- Drive & Walk doesn't have free trial at all for most of us. But what the manual doesn't tell you is that you can go download the Route66 Sync program for your pc from their website, install and run it, create an account, then connect your Wave through usb in mass storage mode. You should then be able to download and sync a free country map. I also initially thought there wasn't anything free for the Philippines until I checked the Route66 Sync program. The Route66 interphase may look a bit dated, but I find it easier to use than the Ovi navigation that's now free in Nokia. :)
3) I couldnt configure rediffmail in the mail accounts, however gmail and yahoo are done. Has anyone succeeded in configuring rediffmail.
4) when I open rediffmail through web, I am not able to send any attachment, I couldnt see the attachment option. However it is visible for gmail.
-Sorry, not familiar with rediffmail.
5) Is there any editor for word/excel doc?
-That was the same question I had with the iPhone. Apparently not in Bada yet either. Supposedly there exists in Java, but I haven't been able to locate a free installer

Me, 06 Aug 2010Do you have an unlocked wave or a carrier one. It´... moreMine is unlocked, but I do have wifi, bluetooth and location services turned on all the time. The battery life seems to improve with every charge cycle, so I hope by next week I can get at least three days from my battery too.

ic3rock, 06 Aug 2010Your pc or laptop on window 7? If not wrong kies cant suppo... moreI'm on Windows7 and using Kies with no problems. I don't think it has to do with the OS, but with the version of Kies. Don't use the one on the cd, but download the latest Kies version from the samsung website.

Great phone, as always by samsung. Screen is fantastic, videos and sound are quite exceptional. The price range as well is really great. Processor is as quick as promised. Keyboard can still use work in my opinion, layout is a little crammy for myself. I think this phone would be much better off if it was using a more common os system ; android specifically. I think android would have made this phone a little more entertaining. BADA is great and all, but still under developed... I guess you have to start somewhere. HD pictures and video works like a charm. Battery life I found quite decent for such a powerful screen and processor.

I dont know about others who have put lot of -ve comments, but it is much better than my earlier HTC3300. this is faster and super AMOLED screen is awesome. I had to run to a shady corner to see my screen in HTC earlier, But wave gives a very good performance for display.
