Hi can someone help me on my 'Wave' phone. I am encountering power off and on of my Wave phone automatically. It happens at least 8 times a day. Does anyone know what is the cause? Please help! Thanks!

How much tim... moremy signal lock was about 3sec. and on the top left corner the icon is a white satilite dish/antena with a couple of strength bars like with the wifi icon.to see the lat/long you need to go into media browser or files,touch on the pic then the info icon then media info

I'm not getting the firmware from unknown source or from some other website. I just update the firmware from KIES. A few days ago when I plug in my phone to PC for installing some app then KIES told me that there are an update for my phone firmware and also KIES itself.
So I choose to update KIES first to version "1.5.1.10074_2" then after restart the PC I update my firmware to JF3.
In between the process it works very smoothly without any problem occur.
Battery life getting better, phone get more responsive and better stability. I'm not sure what are the BUGS have been FIXED in JF3 firmware.

Plzzz help in using GPS functionality tried a... morego into "settings-connectivity-location-my position".there you will see your lat. and long. and a few other things like altitude,speed and direction.also there is a free google maps based "my location" app in the app store which allows you to send your position via e-mail or sms.

waitn 4 mine, 04 Aug 2010reading everyone's posts it doesnt seem like there are any ... moreI dont think that Wave is available in US. :) I think I saw that in the keynote conference that Wave will not be making an appearance in US. That is why it does not support the US 3G band.
Dunno why this is though. May be they did not want a competition for Galaxy S in such a huge market ??
Samsung's stupid promotion techniques ! Ugh !

I think we need to remember that bada os is still very young. If it is apps that you crave then go for android or apple, lets remember the first android or iphone app store took at lot of time to grow and the bada app store is only a few months old. If you want an all round beast of a phone at a great price for the features, then wave is the one for you. I have had it for a couple of months and are still finding things that i can do with it. By the way I have had no probs with GPS and have voice guided nav through route 66 maps that works like a dream on the wave. I get sat lock within one minute sometimes faster so I'm not sure about people saying that the GPS is weak, maybe you should read your manual!!

Main Disadvantages(THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW GUYS!): Very limited internal memory/ Location of memory card behind battery/ limited contol over profile options (YOU CANNOT MAKE NEW PROFILES :(((( YOU CANNOT MAKE IT RING FOR CERTAIN NUMBERS FOR EXAMPLE...Can anyone tell me if there is a way to do that? Have phone in silent but only ring for certain callers??? ....hmmm another question: Can you make shortcuts of things on the desktop? for example : quick jump to profiles? Cheers

Maybe ... moreHi..wave has speed dial in the form of favorites in contacts..Plus it gives a widget called BUDDY NOW which is kind og speed dial n message..why does one require favourites??so that u can immidiately gt a contact list of people with whom u talk frequently..
