everybody who has problems with the kies
just do one thing
i also had problems . someone told me and
the problem was solved
i think most of urs probs
would also get solved.
go to kies menu on the top left hand side:
and
click on "DRIVER RECOVERY"
and now wait .. any probs of not detection of phones
would be solved by this
just try this and give me the response
one more thing
kies works excellent with 64 bit versions ...
as some of u were saying that it doesnt support 64 bit win....
its wrong... it does easily....... just do what i say

And I see that they show both of the phones (Notice the word "Solely" in my comment). My gripe is that they don't have an advertisement focused entirely towards Samsung Wave. They do have 1 for Samsung Galaxy.
In addition, the advertisement in which they show both of em phones does not do justice to the capabilities of the devices. It can very easily be ignored.
They are having developer days agreed. Great move ! But it is the sales that will attract the developers. And while Wave has been excellent in sales on its own. Just Imagine where it can reach with just a little bit of effective marketing !

2. If u watch TV, pls notice apart frm tht library ad, samsung's ads shows both the phones (galaxy S and WAVE) they name it "Future Beyond" phones.
3. even evry weekends, leading newspprs has the ads of both (future beyond).
4. Samsung is arrnging Bada- developer event, one of the biggest event dedicated solely to Bada Apps developers. (to encourage them)
so WAVE seems to hav a bright future, no need to worry,
m also planning to buy one, just waiting fr the prices to come down a bit.

Ajay, 31 Jul 2010how is call quality experience from this phone? I am using ... moreIt is excellent. :) It would suffice your purpose if you see some video reviews on youtube. Pocketnow has some very detailed reviews on samsung wave. See them, and make a more informed decision.

[deleted post]Vikram. I am not interested in trolling mate. :) I am no fan/critic of either Nokia or Samsung. I am big on VFM and Technology though. And Samsung wave eats anything even exceeding its price range by 4-5k. :)

Hey guys a little question -
I got 2 CDs in the Wave kit, i wanna know can i download kies from samsung's official site & install it, instead of installing those 2 CDs???
I mean the contents of downloaded Kies would be same as that of those 2 CDs or different???

Bought it yesterday in Pune..17.2K..
I Used Wi-fi... working like a charm..no problem howsoever... and Youtube also work gud.....
as i have read the comment that... Youtube is not working properly.... But it was playing video using my home wi-fi.. with no lagging...

But even then I dont really see ANY Promotions by Samsung focused solely towards Wave as they have towards Galaxy S.
Sure, Galaxy S is really important to them. But is it just me that feels that Samsung Wave, being the first device to be running on their own OS should be more important ??

Ive been using Wave and have been absolutely loving every bit of it.
But guys, samsung scares me now. They have advertisements with John Abraham, Abhay deol, Genelia for their corbys.
They have a new advertisement focused solely towards Samsung Galaxy S where the guy walks through a library.
But I dont see any such promotions for Samsung Wave. They made an Os. They have been having developer days all over the world. It sold bloody 1m devices in 4 weeks. So why are they not going all guns blazing promoting it ?
