Man!! this is not wave. this is Tsunami. i charged two days back and now its showing some 65% battery :O i dunno wat is the problem. i din expect i could get such amobile which excels almost in all departments. i upgraded to jf2 and the tsunami is showing the change significantly.
better buy this mobile instead of wasting it in anyother pathetic mobile..
and regarding applications, android and ios has 1 lakh applications, be it one crore. you will hardly install ten applications in your mobile. might be me. if u own a nokia wat applications willl u install ?
divx player, battery check, smart movie, task manager, fancy photo viewer, few old fashioned games, and some more not so fancy applications. But WAVE has all the softwares builtin. wat do u need then. i mean not for a techie user who used to check almost all apps with their mobile.
multimedia = Wave (no need to explain this)
camera is 5MP. flawless. i mean FLAWLESS !!!

regarding OS.. you wont use the same OS next year. It keeps changing. so dont look for future upgrades and get disappointed. enjoy with wat u have and wave offers it without a flaw.

ei guys from philippines,.did you find any 8gb version of samsung wave when you visited the stoles?? i was planning to buy samsung wave next wik and i wanted the 8gb version(referring to its internal memory,.),.so did anyone know if there's an 8gig version if wave here in ph,.if yes where and how much?tnx a lot

You might have FLASH on. It can be turned off by going to SIM services from the Settings icon.

Your phone's backlight is getting lit every minute. This not the phone's problem. This is because of vodafone. My Nokia did the same thing. I have contact Vodafone and disable Vodafone active . . .

ASR, 27 Jul 2010I use Vodafone gprs (packet data)...First of all, if you are from india, the gprs from vodafone sucks !! I was on vodafone for god knows how many years but had to change and get an airtel after I bought wave purely because of the airtel internet quality ! I would have less troubles with it only if number portability was in place as it was supposed to be. So if you want to enjoy packet data, you will have to change cuz its just not possible on vodafone.
Here is a comparison of the plans.
Vodafone - 100 mb free usage for Rs 200 (quality sucks)
Airtel - 2 GB free usage for Rs 98. (Very good quality)

ASR, 27 Jul 2010I use Vodafone gprs (packet data)...@ASR: Are you able to browse to full version sites or only wap sites, chances are you may need to subscribe to the Vodafone mobile connect for this, I guess as of now you might be on Vodafone Live! or Hutch Access!
