Anonymous, 24 Jul 2010i have been using this phone for a week now, very nice phon... moreyour battery will be conditioned for atleast 5-10 charging cycle, i've got wave and the battery is great -now, it'll last upto 2.5-3 days oh heavy used, before the battery was not really reliable but after i charged it for 5 cylces it went good and ok, you may also close other applications, wifi, 3g when not in need to save more power

Wave users: is the touchscreen on this phone anything like the screen on the Samsung Jet? I currently own a Jet and the touchscreen is just abysmal.

Hi Frnds,
M not really a techie bt wantd to upgrade ma version from JE7 to jf2, can ny1 tell me wht are the changes in this version,,, Nd 2ndly do i need to take backup of ma mem card nd contacts and msgs while im upgrading nd shd i remove mem crd during update... Thanks to all for ur help, sry for askn many questn frndz, just wanna be sure b4 updating... Wave Rockkss. Thnkx again.

i have been using this phone for a week now, very nice phone for those like me who don't want to jump on the iphone and android bandwagon, fast and easy to use, display is the best in the world, best photoshooter for a 5mp and has a great hd video recording with a superb sound quality even in loud places like discos the sound is still clear. i have 1 issue with this phone though, the OS uses too much battery life it just drains so much fast without using the phone and takes like 4 hours to fully charge definitely not happy as i expected a good battery life as advertised. i hope samsung release a firmware or else ill sell it and wait for the nokia n8. what is holding me off is the display because is too amazing to look at and sammy is the only one uses it

Hi! This phone is just awesome. I am from India and using this set for the last one month....I thought Asphalt 5 and NFS Shift looked superb...until I saw the ExZeus Demo on youtube!...this is available in the paid section of Arcade games on the Apps sore in UK. So i registered there and tried to download through KIES, but it wouldnt accept any of my credit cards for payment...because they were issued in india...i am desperate to have this game on my WAVE..HElllllllllllp

i am a person who uses nokia only.my last one was n73 had so many problems like hangging while useing camera,gallery needs 3minutes to open.after a long searching, i bought a wave from karur poorvika.there is no words to say.it is a killer mobile in every department.below 10thousand go nokia and above 10thousand go for samsung.i think samsung capture the indian market from nokia with in year, that i am sure.

Tushar, 24 Jul 2010I had been trying to update my wave from ddje7 to ddjf2 usi... moreOkay here is what you need to do.
Just check the phone's connectivity option and change the USB to 'USB Debugging' mode, not Kies or anything else. Then connect it, see if it's converting to upgrade mode after binary files are downloaded. Do it with the latest version of Kies. And if it doesn't work, then you've to download the OLD Kies form Samsung UK website which Chinaman posted 2-3 pages back.
Hope this will do, please inform what happened.

i just read that new firmware support multi touch every where..that doesnt mean that we can touch screen fast at two points..?? will this multi touch help in texting in any way?

Wordsmith, 24 Jul 2010touch response as good as iPod touch, iPhone, only issue th... morethe multi touch is supported but not in the keyboard.
try the piano app to check the multi touch :)
