i tried connecting my wap to pc but it doesnt connect....it has option to select loop but no option to enter my proxy settings and what about the dns server settings....should i change it....

run your java apps in native resolution of Wave, copy these settings in the manifest file of the jar.
MIDlet-Scaleup-Support: False
LGE-MIDlet-Width: 480
LGE-MIDlet-Height: 800
MIDlet-Touch-Support: True
You can use 7zip to modify the manifest file
1. Right click on the jar file and select 7zip -> "open archive"
2. Open "Meta-Inf" folder.
3. Right click and select edit for the manifest file, add the lines copied above, save.
4. Click "Ok" on the update archive message.
5. Copy the jar to your phone/memory card in usb mass storage mode.
6. Install and enjoy :)

is the samsung app store down right now? 11:25 IST, can't connect to it from my kies and though I can connect from my phone, any downloads are getting paused.

irvinehooi, 16 Jul 2010Hi to all WAVE users, I think there is no need to instal... moreHi irvinehooi......i installed ur update and it updated my existing palringo app...but now, i can never log in to it and i am using a wifi connection...i can't even get thru the first screen and the app graphics have also gone bad...not as clear as it used to be....i installed both jar and jad files....wt should i do now...is there a way to correct this?? if so then how??? i can't even seem to delete it...pls help...

Okay So I figured out the ringtone problem I was having for caller ringtones. When I set a custom ringtone for a contact everything works just fine. But when I link that same contact to their facebook account when they call the default ringtone rings and not the one I assigned to that particular contact. I am on SW version JF4 I don't know if this is a widespread problem or I am just experiencing it. Anyway of fixing this problem?

Upgraded from XXE7 to XXF2_IN.. No hassles... No data loss... It was so simple, Just like 5800 upgrades... Wish they were OTA like Nokia.. But cant notice any major difference... Anybody notice any difference after upgrading to XXF2?

I got following response from Samsung Customer care:
1-Samsung Wave handset does not support Marathi/Hindi language.
2-Unicode fonts feature is not available in this handset.
If I install Opera Mini on Wave, will I get Unicode support?
Does any phone support these features at all??
I guess Windows mobiles will do. Do Android based phones support this?
