sam, 22 Jul 2010i download it yrrrr..it safe or ntWhat do mean by safe or not? This is darn FW update...every brands does this. I never believed Sammy will ever provide an update but they did, but not in easy way. I will wait a day maybe, then this device is in trash...

Basically onc... moreYes, all your downloads are stored under "C:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\My Documents\Samsung\Kies\Download\Applications"
All you need to do is backup this folder.

I have a question can someone help please?
Basically once you download the apps via Kies into your pc, are those apps are yours to download forever? basically some of the apps were free when I downloaded to my pc but have't put it to my wave. so can I use this apps over and over again without downloading them again from internet?

Hi, I've found out something:
If you install the app to the memory card, the "Privacy Lock" feature will become broken after you run the app.
Example: You applied "Privacy Lock" to only "My Files", after you installed the app to the memory card (e.g. Flower Madness FREE version) and run that app and play it then exit the app and go back to access "My Files" you will found out that the system allow you to access "My Files" without asking any password.
Can somebody try the above example and confirm whether it's happen the same BUG ??
Hope this is a BUG and looking forward for Samsung to FIXED this by end of this year Bada OS major update.

Feedback about Samsung from indian users isn't very promising. Had a talk with one retailer in Mumbai. As per him, some have got sets with minor issues. Company is quick enough to replace sets but that is leaving bad impression at first place. Many are not satisfied by battery performance. Some are asking from where to get themes and customization stuff like that. Some are confused about UI, message storage memory, different wallpapers on different home screen etc. Two things being praised are display and audio output. I hope Samsung take note and improve in these aspects. I am a wannabe wave user but just surveying about common cons and pros in wave. Would be taking my decision in next week.

GUys a faced a problem recently....
I was tinkering with the phone codes i found here.. so i managed to accidently master reset my phone.. lost a few contacts n sms as i had a week old backup... bt i realized tht all the Applications i had downloaded frm my phone and saved to memory card were wiped out... i cud see them in the memory card in Others>@@Bada apps@@.. but it wudnt show up in the menu...
I was like ok not a big deal i will reinstall via KIES.. but KIES had only those apps which i downloaded via KIES previously.. not those which i downloaded directly frm Samsung Apps frm phone!!!
Now Real Football costs 3 freaking pounds!!!
I have the installation on my memory card but cant reinstall it!!!

when I try to download divx file via phone browser it says unsupported file format.but I can play divx video in my phone without registration.anybody solve this problem
