just a quick Q guys, if i use kies and click on the "update button" will it automatically update my phone to the latest f/w available in my country(as i know other country mean deferent version of firmware availability) any idea?

Can somebody tell me about the maps application for this phone. I knw that this phone has an application that comes with 1 month subscription but what after that.I am planning to buy this phone.

if notice upon viewing videos on ur card, its kinda load for about 10secs or so BUT if u convert ur videos to DIVX format it it will load automatically and plays instantly, just what ive observed anyways hope this answers the Q about loading videos

Bought samsung wave 4 days back and have been using the same. It is a beautiful phone with great feature. Display is excellent. it gives a great experience to watch movie on the phone.
Only hurdle faced during connecting it to computer was MTP USB Device error on one notebook but on second it worked fine. Tried to find solution for MTP USB Device but could not find solution that works with Samsung wave.
Samsung really need to pull socks on application store which has limited application and half of the time does not allow you to access.

anonymous, 17 Jul 2010my battery lasts 3-4 days with my use..
then I talk some ... moreso there is a fault in my phone or my battery

Hi, regarding your brightness issue I would like to ask more detail for your statement. It's the WAVE screen global brightness or the brightness for the internet browser ?? Which one you are referring to ??

Hi Kone, I fully agree with your statement. When we know how to use it, we will know how powerful the Samsung WAVE is.
And from that time onward, we will know whether it is BUG or it's by design. So we can't comment it so early.
