Many people say there is no lag whatsoever.I have come accross major lags in the media browser after I put abt 1.5gig videos on the 8gig card.In "My Files" the same vidoes scroll without any lag at all(slight lag while the thumbnail images load).There is also a slight lag while scrolling thru Contacts that have when images for some contacts. Anyone else facing this issue or would like to check this on their Wave?One more disappointment is that true multitasking is not available. For example,you cannot open calculator & memos at the same time(Calc auto closes when u press Menu).However,I have to say,this is one of the best phones i've used. Killer screen,battery life and multimedia.No regrets.

1:battery gets ... moreit has been answered countless times, that the battery needs to go several charge cycles (4 to 5) for it to reach full performance (about 3 days as in gsmarena review). just read a couple page behind, you'll get it.
So, maybe that "service center" didn't know anything about their own handset. God help them..

1:battery gets ... moreI had the same issue with battery today itself i got it replaced frm the shop where i bought the phone. Bt i dont think the issue is with battery, issue must be with OS as sum apps must be running in background which are draining battery without any use.
Samsung has to come out with firmware upgrade as lot of users are facing this issue.

I can't sign in via Palringo. Trying it since 2 days but it isn't working. Is the error from Vodafone's end? (I stay in India). I even created a new account but it just won't sign in. Please help :(

Hi guys there are two majore fault in WAVE
1:battery gets drain even if ur not using any apps or game and that to when its in sleep mode with in 4hours so i went to samsung service center the shocking was already three wave was there in service centre becos of battery problem.
2:brightness display if u set for 2 after a day it automatically comes to 4 becos of that battery drains very fast but one thing guys what ever happens i like this phone very much becos of camera,look,fast and sound clarity.

You can switch off "Advanced GPS", go to "My position" and wait for a while, you should get your coordinates.. Just make sure to there are no obstacles between the device and the sky.. Good Luck

What is the difference between the 2GB (1.5GB?) and the 8GB versions, is it only the storage size?

Bought this phone yesterday in Croatia. Very affordable, great move from Samsung! I also own iPad but I can say that UI is good on Sammy as it is on iPad. But the display clarity and colors on Wave ... awesome! Only hope that Samsung app store will be awailable in Croatia really soon ... otherwise, hm. Free apps are OK but I would like to spend some money in app store but they havent made this possible for me, really strange!

hello every one..today i used my gps after a long time...at first my samsung navigation was not able to locate my position...after i tried to use browser based google maps..but tht too was not not able locate my position...i went to previous site where it had worked last time..but agaain it didnot...wht could be the problem??

I got this phone yesterday, its really great, the camera and the screen really clear, looks so real.. its better than iphone 3gs, problem with the iphone only supported by globe, i bought an open line iphone, but my plan is smart, now, my iphone cannot receive and send mms, not even internet, really sacks! now, i got this samsung wave, really happy and glad about it. its really great phone.

the space on the lower screen is useless.. they should be use it and make the screen 3.5" and lacks of skype... if bada will have skype in the near future.. ill buy this one.. very good device.. near perfect

Hi to All
I bought my wave 2 weeks ago. Everything is working perfect. There is only one problem that i couldn't install KIES software on my PC i am using Vista 32 bit. I have tried from Cds as well as i have downloaded from samsung web but i am facing same problem. Installation got fail every time after 50%. can anybody please help how can i install KIES on my PC.
