My telco only have PIN1 and PUK1. But inside Samsung WAVE, it allow user to change "Call Cost" under "Log Manager" and it needs PIN2 and PUK2.
Actually, I myself doesn't know what is "Call Cost" about. That's why I want to try to configure it then the phone is asking for PIN2. As I know PUK2 is the only code to unlock PIN2.

Hi,
Does anyone know what is the "Admin" code for Samsung WAVE ?? I've heard that in this mode we can set a lot of configuration.
Just want to find out whether in this mode it has the ability to unlock the phone or not if the user have locked the phone by key in wrong PIN1 / PIN2 / PUK1 / PUK2.

samir, 17 Jul 2010Brigthness set 3,but automtic set 4.wt the resion behind th... morePost your query clearly. I got it though. Whatever you set in the main settings, it will not effect on your browser brightness, it will remain 4 unless you turn it down manually.

My wave catches... moreDNS Failed message comes when your internet connection is slow. I also got this message several times, but refreshing the page did the job. I think you try to open a lite page, (eg- google) first and see what happens.
I don't know how your set hanged and restarted!!!Been playing and surfing with it all day...no problem yet...

sama631, 17 Jul 2010reason for asking this is that i've heard that some things ... moreI am using smartphones from the year 2004. I've had atleast 50-60 top end devices from SE,hTC,BB,Moto and a lot. But gotta say, in this budget you will hardly find a phone with these awesome specs...One of the BEST phone I've ever owned.

Hi just bought a 2nd hand sim free wave. the phone is on t-mobile but unlocked so my orange sim works fine. there are applications, eg. one called mobiletv on the phone which attempts to connect to t-mobile's service unsuccessfully.
Also there are other t-mobile related applications, data and settings which I want to delete eg. I have set the browser homepage to google but the browser ignores this and defaults to a t-mobile service. All this makes the phone very frustrating to use.
Please, does anyone know how to get rid of all the network stuff.

My wave catches my office wi fi network but when i put in the web address, it shows DNS failed.... I gave it all the settings
192.168.1.140
255.255.255.1
192.168.1.1
Preferred DNS : 192.168.1.1
Alternate DNS: 218.248.155.161
IN wave its DNS 1 and DNS 2....
With no settings put also its sayn that dns failed, some default ip address is feeded automatically when i connect to network(192.168.0.126). if i remove this IP ie i tap forget, message comes network would be disconnected. When again the network connects the same ip comes again..ny solns man...
2 issue:
My set got switched off automatically and then restarted automatically, and for once it hanged for 4 secs and then resumed...ny comments..the set is only a week old......

then u have to manually put them back....
so i thot dat since the OS is new there can be possibilities of it laging or hanging or even closing apps in between
but incase there are no such problems i can buy this device for sure...

no super amoled screen
no hd video recrording
no 1ghz processor(only 434)
less ram
lower screen resolution
less powerfull battery
slower 3g speed
same old pathetic s60 platform

So I guess I won't receive them anymore, but the notification for already received updates still remains. Although it's a nice feature for the user to be informed about updates, I terribly want get rid of that. I could go through all of my 50+ installed apps and update them one by one, and I would eventualy hit those two for which I have update notifications. But to do that, it would take ages!There must be a simplier way to do it. Apart from the disassembling the phone to the tiniest parts and look for the problem :)

its a good piece in every sense but not better then NOKIA x6,cos multimedia media exprience is far better in X6 both r HD but X6 does more clarity when u convert the avi movies to MPEG-4.
MORAL- take nokia n u will get worth for ur money really
