I have downloaded route 66 maps to the phone for my country. I can get sat lock but when I try to get voice guided navigation a message appears on the device to sync with route 66 which i have many times. any help appreciated.

Well do you guys noticed that a page in the built in browser doesn't reload the page automatically even if you close the browser and re open it. You have to manually click the green refresh icon to reload the page. You can check yours with this page, the Wave forum in Gsmarena and please tell what's going on? This is most weird thing I am having....

Re 20% battery drain after 1 hr of Wifi surfing, rate of battery drain partly depends on signal strength. Also, you can't really assume battery will be drained completely in 5 hrs because power drain is non-linear. You'll notice most phones drain relatively quickly from fully-charged to around 90% but it drains more slowly below 90%. Battery life also depends on how many live applications you are running simultaneously, so it's really pointless to compare battery life without describing how you typically use your phone. (I require more food and thus energy after a rigorous workout, but I'll require less when I'm sedentary.)

if you press the lock and middle menu button together the wave will take a cpoy of whatever you are looking at on the screen. got some good pics off google images for my wallpaper this way.

i received my samsung wave!
ah the days when i was still drooling over this phone has finally ended :D.
here is my review.
Wow the screen is amazing! Blacks are sooo black! My jap anime looks amazing on this phone and it suppourts subs.
The antismudge tech actually somewhat works aslong as ur finger aint too sweaty! But it def looks alot cleaner than my brothers iphone.
The sound quality is amazing and even picks up the tiniest sound while video recording in HD.
The phone is flippen SMOOTH and FAST! Solid build quality and comes with amazing headphones thats even louder than my razer headset. Everything is easy to find. i can search the web and listen to music...music fades away when i get a phone call or play a game then comes strait back as soon as the game or call has ended.
Charged it last night and its been running all day with only 2 bars dropped by the end of the day. Think i can get another 2 days out of it with normal use so 3 days total is very good.
Copying movies or anything is soo easy. Ask's you to convert a movie if it aint suppourted.
i downloaded the asphalt 5 game and while it looks and runs way better than the iphone i can actually play it without riding into every wall. for some reason moving the car from left to right is much better on the wave than the iphone!
i bought it at www.expansys.co.za for R4800 inc insurance shipping. TWICE as cheap as what a iphone is going for in southafrica!
Best phone ever! My brother and my other friend who has a iphone 3gs also wants a wave :). They are so impressed with the speed and HD video recording and the screen!

Top notch product from Samsung. Marvelous screen and super fast speed. I am absolutely thrilled to have it....no issues so far. However i have a query....there is no document viewer om board..other than the ebook reader...i searched the net and it says that PICSEL file viewer has been designed for it....how does one install it?? any alternative to view &...maybe...edit ms office files..............THankz

Hey i went to Alpha at IRLA in Mumbai and it was bang 18K .. why are you misleading us ? wasted so much time and money going there .. no where near to 14.5K

When using SamsungApps, now I get the number of apps updates in the upper right corner of the icon. How can I get rid of that? If I click on the Update option, I get the list of all apps (installed and uninstalled together) and that's about 150 of them. How in the world can I know which one of them have been updated on SamsungApps? My goal is not to have all apps updated, I just want to get rid of the number on the icon. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and how to fix that? Tnx!

My neighbours have some wifi modem.. on my s... moreif you dont know their password it wont let you connect anyway but if you want you can go into main menu-settings-conectivity-wifi and you will see all available wifi conections.if it has a padlock next to the name then you need their password.if no padlock then click on the name and conect.

Great phone and great value for money. Display is second to none. Super AMOLED ftw XD Touch is extremely responsive, runs really smooth, that 1ghz processor sure is worthy, camera is awesome, I'm loving this phone :D
Guys have you noticed that set gets a bit warm when using the phone, I mean when display is on? But I guess that's normal being an LED screen and obviously there's electronics involved XD

[deleted post]You MUST have to go through several CHARGE CYCLES before getting achieving the optimum battery performance. Thats why battery life gets improved after a week or so. Read the previous posts from page 1 to know what I say is right. Get a life and post what you know.
