Hi i have recently purchased samsung wave....whenever i am connecting by wave to my PC using USB, its popping up a message "for using mass storage mode please close all ur applications", even if none of the applications is in running mode....to solve this issue everytime i have to switch OFF - ON my wave phone.....
Just want to know is there any soln ..so that i need not to always switch OFF - ON my mobile.

Use Wave for a week. Now I notice it whenever i set a new ringtone or wallpaper, it duplicated the same file from other subfolder to its main folder. Why?
Example:
ABC.mp3 was storing in My Files/Music/New ringtones/
but once i set it as ringtone or alert tone,
it copied another ABC.mp3 to the main music folder itself. And so the same goes to wallpapers.
Anyone know how to avoid this?

i got mine yesterday,really a very nice gadget.i have a problem with samsungapp, it dosent open in my phone,shows set the connection but i already cannected to wifi. on my pc after installing kies,i updated files of kies and install all files itself.but when i try to open samsungapp,it shows update skies you cant use sa.
requesting to solve this issue.

My friend's 5800 works fine even after 1.5 years. Many wave owners have complained about wave and although they have got replacement but what after one year. You will not get any replacement. Wave is not good phone except screen and processor.

This will disconnect you Fone from all wireless connections. It will let your fone stop searching for signals thus saving power. This is what I think. Guys correct me if I'm wrong...

see the daily interest of wave and then of 5800. 5800 is 2 years old but it can beat wave in many aspects. Ha ha ha. All wave owners. Enjoy super amoled and 3 games and 4 apps. 5800 has a high res. Screen and thousands of games and apps. Oh ho we forgot n-gage gaming. Dats amazing on my 5800. Long live nokia.

Where I work there is no reception. When I move to an area with reception it seems to take the wave a long time before it allows me to make a call. It will say 'emergency calls only' even if I have several bars. It seems like if I send a text message it fixes this problem. Anyone know how to change the settings so it updates the power save mode manually?

Hi, the step is in my previous post. But now I rewrite it in a step by step:
1) Go to "Menu" screen
2) Click on "Settings" icon
3) Click "Applications"
4) Click "Email"
5) Click "Email accounts"
6) Click on "New" button to create new email account.
7) Choose "Exchange ActiveSync"
8) Then fill in the info as below:
Email address : your gmail email address
Password : your gmail password
Domain : leave it blank
Server : m.google.com
SSL : On
That's all. Now your Samsung WAVE is rocking.

** Note: you can further configure how "PUSH Sync" work in the "MENU" > "My Account".

Hello guys. Im planning to buy a wifi router but i saw one of d features in ds phone & it has wifi router. Hows the built in wifi router wid this phone? Is it Free of charges when connecting it wid my laptop ? Will i able to access internet Freely without subscription or data charges? Pls i need ur response. thanks n advance

Guys and girls, this phone is the best samsung phone ever made apart from the Galaxy new one. And all those people who use i-phone 4, keep in mind that apple has many "cons" than pros. Also keep in mind that new i-phone has a reception fault in it so Apple is re-designing it for them to launch the new batch. It's true that loads of i-phones 4 sold out here in UK but i'm sure this Samsung phone will have more consumer demand soon and a better sales. However, this Samsung phone rocks. Really it does.So all the people out there who's planning to buy this..just go for it! You will not regret having this.

I live in new delhi nd planning 2 purchase a phone. I have been following dis fone on gsmarena since d last week nd my overall impression is dat dis is a really nice fone. So can ny1 tell me, 4m where can i purchase dis cuty at an affordable price in delhi? I have got 19k's in my hand. I wud prefer 2 have a made in korea black color 8 gb version of dis handset. Plz do mention d place nd d price(hopefully less than 17k). Nd i wud also like 2 hav a 16 gb class 6 sandisk micro sdhc card so if ny1 can give me an idea abt its price as well. Ur help will b highly appreciated.

Wave, 14 Jul 2010Mate this app is bad its all French channels and it doesn't... moreand maybe you should inform yourself first before opening your stupid mouth you clown!.ive been using it all day through wifi with no problem at all.its faster than my navigator app.all works fine.downloaded it from spain apps store and its all in local news and language except for cnn,cbs and espn sports(and lots more) which are all in english.so thanks for nothing but keep it to yourself in future!

theres a free app in the app store called TikiSurf that is a multi-search web app and its quite good if anyone wants to try it.
