Excellent phone with great features....i like it i own a samsung Superb/marvel at moment and will be buying this phone in a bout a month or so...
go for it guys..i mean the best you can get for very low price...compared to other phones..

Hi,
Just got the Samsung Wave yesterday in B'lore, India. Loved everything about the phone. However, I am having issues with the GPS - it cannot lock onto a satellite at all. I am trying some of the steps mentioned in these forums. Otherwise, this phone is going back tomorrow for an exchange.
Another thing I am looking for - does anyone know if this phone supports PPTP/L2TP VPNs for corporate networks ? And SSL VPNs ? Hopefully someone will come out with support for these soon.

On... morei will tell you what is smart in wave,it has multi-task feature even for java app,yes it has few bada games but when you check the quality and response of the game they are better than symbian,winmo,andriod,and only comparable to iphone 4,check you tube and look for these comparisons ,it has office and pdf viewer,yes still no voIP calling because samsung still not allowing that, let's hope samsung change its mind,samsung offering the biggest apps contest in 2010 and the winner softwares will be offerd for free,sorry till now you still can not steal softwares as in jailbreaked iphone or hacked nokia,but the phone offers superior call quality without dropping calls even when holding it with the left hand :)the phone also offers hd video and (other) resolutions recording at (30fps)without (blurring) effect with movement and with (video light)if you know other phone can do that tell me ;)
the phone offers great audio experience with 5.1 sound effect,the best video play back experience which only comparable to samsung galaxy s,yes it has super amoled screen(the best in the market),it has scratch resistant body ,all these features are in 118g phone with aluminum body and low price,so i think wave is smart :)

I don't see why must I jealous of wave when I already own one ? I'm merely just speaking my stands and feeling ? You guys can't change the fact that iPhone is leading . Ask yourself how good is wave and can wave be on par with iPhone ? No

I do own this phone for a month (: the whole phone only the camera I like the most th rest neutral . I'm not a iPhone fans or what just that some issue in wave disappoint me ); take the message conversation list for example , after a few ads when I scroll up and see the message I sent to my friends is gone left all the messages my friend sent to me ? It's very ftustrating . Secondly it's been months the application is seems still so little ?

Here's a comparison between the Wave and iPhone:
I bought the Wave in Canada from Bell for $299 NO CONTRACT. I also got 2x 16GB micro SDHC cards from Bestbuy on sale for $39.99 each.
Once Canada gets the iPhone 4 I would suppose the cost will be $299 for 32GB and $199 for 16GB with a 3 YEAR CONTRACT OR $699 / $799 with no term.
I am also impressed with all the features on this phone and the Bada OS. However this is my first smartphone so I can't offer a technical comparison.

kate, 13 Jul 2010guys dis phone is no dual led flash, no videolghts. low qua... morecomments and opinions are always welcome when they are from experience or at least a reliable source.i dont know how you can say the wave has no video light,low quality sound,hard to use screen because of glass and that the jet8003 is a better phone.the wave has vid light,best gsmarena sound test quality,extremely responsive screen due to super amoled and the jet isnt even a smartphone and doesnt come close.to say that bada isnt as good as other OSs' cos its not a familiar OS is kinda nieve to say when NO OS IS FAMILIAR WHEN ITS ONLY JUST RELEASED.

whats smart in wave. Just it can run few apps at a time. Only there are few good games there. No office viewers,no voip and skype, pdf, lacks great app. Just super amoled. 1ghz proc., .put just 600 mhz proc. In 5800. It will fly.
