i wanted to ask that if i register uk as my country then will i be able to download more apps from samsung store and if yes then can i download india maps for gps navigation....also i heard gps is for only 30 days....is it true ????

Also can someone please tells me what is the way to watch the catch up TV on WAVE, or any TV channel,I am based in UK. what do i do and how I set it up, I haven't seen anything in the apps store for this yet.
As with movies, any recomendation on the site to download movies please?

Then look at the 16 character code below Software version. Last tree letters identify your firmware version. All letters have code, meaning A=January, B=February, L=December, so if the last letter is E, your firmware dates back to May. There are also other codes and explanations for them on the Google...

I have downloaded nfs shift from the uk apps store via kies but when i go to install it comes up with the message "installation software faulty", has anyone else had this problem. I downloaded real football and it loaded on the phone no probs....any ideas?

Wave is all-round good. The OS is also excellent. The bright screen is one of the best I've seen. This smartphone with excellent features and hardware is priced low because of the primitive OS which is actually very good. A highly recommended phone for such a price, and if Samsung keeps their promise, people with application requirements will have nothing to worry about, for apps will be developed to even beat the Apple apps production.

Hi,
Have someone tried to use "Privacy Lock" ?? I tested it and apply it to "My Files" and it works flawlessly whenever I access to "My Files" it will asked for password.
Recently I change the location of the installation app to memory card, I found out that whenever I run the app (installed at memory card) the app run without asking for a password.
Then I go to "My Files", surprisingly it allow me to go through it without asking for password. Then I go to "Settings" > "Security" > "Privacy Lock" to confirm that whether the "Privacy Lock" for "My Files" is there or not. Well everything is still there. The "Privacy Lock" is still apply to "My Files".
The only way to activate back the "Privacy Lock" for "My Files" is to restart the WAVE. Then it will ask for password when I access to "My Files".
Is it running the app (installed at memory card) can break through the privacy lock ?? Can somebody confirm this ??

peter, 12 Jul 2010i wan to ask how to use the handwrittingwhen writing a message touch the small globe which is on the right hand side just below the 123 button/icon.hold it a couple of seconds to open the menu and you will see "predictive text" and "Keypad" (or keyboard).touch on the word "keypad" (or keyboard) to open menu and you will see 4 options.the last 2 are the handwriting options
