Ive had the Samsung wave for 3 months now and I love the phone. the major problem is the lack of apps in countries that don't have payment support. I'm in Kenya and unfortunately we don't have a paying app store. I am willing to buy apps at whatever prices are offered. so Samsung please upgrade the store. great phone though. No complaints at all. Samsung don't let bada fail. make the drop down notification bar more detailed. And try and sort out the whole out of memory issue. Apart from these two issues I find the phone great. its a step above the competition.

S8500 + quality headset = awesomeness. LOL
And the battery is more than enough. (That depends on how you use the phone though).

Dear wavers s8500, my phone is saved and i received it from service centre working once more. So my advice is to update firmware in service centres only. This is the end of my story, which strated 3 days before when i tried to update firmware of my wave through kies. Best wishes for all waver one and enjoy this excellent cell phone.

Come on Bada u can beat Android and iOS..u have very nice and great feautres .Just concentrate on ur appstore and apgrade..

Has some pretty gud features like the camera which is pretty good, the 100 fps video recording, music player with very good equalizer presets, the surround sound, the dolby effect & the headsets...
Coming to the OS (BADA).. as this is a new into the market... not many apps could be provided by the Samsung Apps store... Basic apps like messengers, skype were away from the store... Later on updating the software you will be finding many problems after the update like mis-match of text, Menu disappearing, battery life was pretty good... updates on the software couldn't make much of a difference...
i would not suggest not to go for this phone nymore until the OS is pretty stable and the app store is good enough to provide the customers with some basic apps...

Do you think the shutter key problem is software related?
Kung hihintayin pa natin ang bada 2.0.1 baka next year pa lalabas yan. :-( (If we're going to wait for bada 2.0.1, it might come out next year.) That's a long wait.

guys we've been experiencing almost the same problem camera shutter issue... mine too i think it was a bug for updating to 1.2, watcha think? i will waite for bada 2.0 before going to service centre, for now i'm also using wamo cam in replacement of camera
