Guys, anyone upgraded their memory card to a higher capacity? Looking for recommendations around -
1. What type to go for (MicroSD or ..)
2. Which brand to go for?
3. What capacity to go for (keeping in mind it should not affect the performance of the ph)

Just an advice to every1, if you are seriously looking to buy, then just go for wave. I dont think you would get the specs even if you go up by 3k-4k on any other device. It is simply the best phone I have ever had, and I have a few good ones.

And just to clarify, I am not foolish enough to give up on warranty to save just 1k when im investing 16 odd thousand of my hard earned money in a phone. I purchased it from a recognised cell phone dealer who is among the top two in that area, the phone was shown to me by the dealer himself because he was using the same handset.
And about the one I purchased, the box was unsealed right in front of me and the contents were :-
1) Phone
2) Charger
3) Micro Usb Cable
4) 2Cds, instruction manual, warranty card and some other documents.
5) 2gb microsd card with a card holder kind of thing.
6) In-ear headphones.

Totally agree with you.
Wave is the best SmartPhone (best screen, best sound quality, best battery life, best touch sensitivity) in the market in a (very very) low price and people are still demanding more..
Even if Wave was totally free, some would still want to have a ATM Booth, Room Heater, Photocopy Machine in it.

17.5k and 6 month warranty ? Where are you from ??
Please check the prices with other dealers because I got mine for 16.7 k flat ( taxes included ) and with a 1 yr warranty. 2gb microsd card came along with it.

Oh wow.. I just had a talk with mobile care people.. And i got the following information
price of wave-Rs 17,500
replacement within 24 hours
warranty 6 months
price of SBH-650(bluetooth stereo headset)- Rs 2,700
invisible shield screen protector- Rs 100
8 GB Memory card- Rs 900
i remember once upon a time.. Micro sd 1 Gb san disk was for Rs 800.. Lol.. I think these are the best price rates around.. :) please do inform the location and shop if you find things cheaper than this.. I'm aaron from punjab.. Keep posting.. :)

a very good phone. period.
os is sharp, display is the best ive seen and the touchscreen works like a charm. even though the appstore isnt enabled for india there's lots of free apps to pass your time and help with productivity and entertainment.
got it yst for 18 k in south delhi.very happy with the phone.

Yesterday night my phone just fell from my bed.. I noticed some pixels being in some other color @ the top right corner of the screen..
I had a black wallpaper and the top corner of the screen looked in reddish color.. I m worried coz its been only 1 week since i bought it..
Will The customer Care People look in to it if i take it to them!!

And someone questioned about the ram and rom..
Its 512 mb for both.. I was informed here too..

Hi,
I had encounter this problem in my samsung wave.
I had downloaded 1 app and it shows 1 update available after installation. After update, it still show update notification on my samsung app icon. I had updated several times but it still show the same notification. Even i delete the app, it still show update notification.
This is annoying, any1 encounter such problem. How to solve it?
