Deepak, 08 Jul 2010Dear All, I've used this phone for 1 week abd I had some b... moreDeeppack, thanks for the feed back I never seen anyone complaining about this even one single case, I am sure you are right but I feel its a isolated case, I got mine 2 weeks and I am loving it, such a pleasure to hold and use this phone, so smooth to ride, and have fun, and quality of reception is amazing, not even once it freezed. have you downloaded any update for this phone from some unofficial site (dodge site), people who have done this having a big problem , need to master reset and even then it may not work the same way. NEVER download anything from unofficial site. good luck.

Dear All,
I've used this phone for 1 week abd I had some bad experience..and ofcourse lots of good and some queries.
Good Exp: Amazing clarity and colors, v.gud video playback including mkv, feather like touch response...I just loved it at first site
BadExp: Calls started dropping(8 out 10), and phone restarts after dialing a number from contact list
I have sent it to samsung workshop...waiting their response now...I hope its a set specific prob. and not general...
Queries: How can I change the alarm tone. Can I add new Sound Profiles? Any suggestion on some gud widgets like Calender, Reminder, Live wallpaers ?

==hardware is reliable but by software upgrades it will rock

=wifi tethering pretty fast
==streaming is fast even on 2g networks\

Even i faced the same problem with the battery life.But only for the 1st 2 days. The battery normally start performing well after 2 or 3 charge and drain cycles. use the battery till it drains completely and then charge it full. it worked for me. Now my battery sustains for almost 3 days with cosiderable usage including wifi, which is a real batter drainer. Try it...

hmmm.. makes me think. You said your battery last only a day with hardly any use. Mine too lasts only a day but with use full time.. constantly checking everything the phone has to offer.. videos, gps, images, SNS, internet, gaming, apps..
I will wait for atleast 2-3 weeks more and keep an eye on the battery life to improve beyond this one day mark. I am sure it will, if not.. hmm lets see!

i was able to connect to the net through wifi the one time i used it.. dont know why you couldnt..
the only problem may be in settings.. please check all options in 'Connections' and 'Applications' in settings icon on menu..
one important thing is to cross check everything thing wherein 'profiles' is written.. it is this setting that connects to the net..
