The rating of wave is to High why? I am soo impressed, I want to buy one but some one told me that samsung phones breaks easy! it last only for 1 or 2 years then every things breaks. Please advice me sincerely? this is my first time to be interested with samsung phone

are there any kind of settings dat need to be done to use wifi.
it connects to wifi but wen i open any site it says request timed out????????????

Vodaf... moreI am not able to get internet browsing to work also, it always tries to connect thru wi-fi whereas in the internet setting i have specified vodafone live(i am using vodafone in Mumbai,India) any help would be appreciated.

[deleted post]disadvantages varies depending on the people using the phone, like for me some disadvantages are on the software and may be improve in the next updates, but about the hardware, it's just the best for me for my price range..
some i hate and i hope to be improved in the next updates is that when i'm browsing multiple heavy websites, the memory full notice occasionally occur and it automatically closes some widgets.. and when the battery was low, it closes the screen for like 5 seconds if your idle, so when you are doing something like texting and you did not touch the screen for 5 seconds, it locks the screen and you have to unlock it again, i hope the delay can be set.. well that's all i don't like, but all in all, i love everything about the phone..

do you see an image of sim card during the start up? it appears for just a second after the word bada.

Vodafone India users.. what settings are u using?
I see three, live,mms and gprs none of which work. Web browsing works fine though..

For my introduction i started disliking samsung because of the corby.. But on seeing the specifications of this phone.. I want to give it a second thought.. I was basically waiting for the n8, and i know nokia and samsung are enemies.. So don't write in abuses about nokia.. Just give me the dis advantages about the wave.. What all problems are you facing.. Please make it true.. Not out of inexperience.. I need a smart phone really very soon.. Do reply.. This is your friend Aaron

Just for my introduction.. I dislike samsung because of the corby stupid handsets.. Now looking into these specifications i'm quite interested.. I've always used nokia.. And i'm awaiting the n8 but its taking so long and i need a smart phone very soon.. The corby was my friends and it really sucked big time.. Thats why i started hating samsung.. Now please help me out.. I'm planning to go for this phone.. I want to know all the disadvantages of this phone and fast.. Please do help me out.. In return i'll share with you my knowledge about video calling through cool software's.. And how to make smart phones smooth in processing.. Reply as soon as possible.. Waiting..

Battery Life, 08 Jul 2010I've just had to return my Wave due to the poor battery lif... morewell some batteries needs long time to show it's total performance, like my Nokia N70, the first time i've used it, it's battery only lasts a day or 2, and that went for months, i was also annoyed that time, and after a few months to a year, i've just noticed that i was only charging it now once or twice a week, with minimal usage.. as for my wave, it also lasts a day with average to maximum use, but with minimum use to idle, it's already lasting 2 days and a half..

Can ny1 plz tell me how do i play flv files on ma wave, cz those files are sayn as "Unsupported file type" Ive also registered the divx file.. Is there not ny way for me to play those files.. Thnks a lot in advance.

I've just had to return my Wave due to the poor battery life (probably lasted just under a day with hardly any usage) and a new replacement is currently charging.
My question to all Samsung Wave users is what is the average time they have with their Wave between each charge interval? And how heavy is your usage?
