Hi all..
I have few comments ( a bit disappointed though) and questions..
comment:
i saw a video for the phone whilst browsing the net.. it still amazes me why Samsung didn't resolve the text-wrapping issue. You still need to PAN to read the text.. It should redraw the text to fit into the screen and get rid of the panning.. its VERY annoying...
Questions:
1. I have a Samsung Jet: the mailbox fills-in in no time.. i have to delete files frequently while my wife's Nokia can keep messages for EVER!!!
2. has anyone noticed any touch lags? like with the keyboard and buttons?
3. how is Wave with Arabic Support? Jet and other Samsung phones (D500) had problem reading Arabic SMSs from Nokia
4. Samsung Products suffer from accessory-shortage. When you go to an accessory shop you would find, covers, protectives, wind shield holders, etc for iPhone, blackberry, Nokia, or Sony.. but for Samsung, you rarely find anything.. is this going to be resolved now Samsung is coming with the Wave??

Orkut is Google's popular socio-networking site just like Facebook. The wave has an Orkut widget on its menu. Can we sync Orkut contacts to Wave too ?

wow, i never though i would use samsung phone ever. but wave really turn things around for me. thank you samsung for creating the wave.

1. Yes u can download using dolphin browser..
2. Yes Wen u connect Usb to ur fone it asks for that option..
3. Yes it plays Xvid and divx.. guess wat it plays MKV also without any soft..
4. Well There are some apps now available for this which are free in India..
As its a new OS it will develop in near future..
being a nokia fanboy from many years.. Samsung made my head turn towards Wave ;)
Its a complete Fone.. U wont regret buying this..

Can anybody help me to tell how to mute the incoming call... as the mute function on touchscreen is alwaz disable on my set whenever a call comes????

1) will i be able to download various file formats like mp3, zip, rar like i could in nokia symbian phones
2)can i connect it to pc to use my gprs on pc....pls tell me i am confused between this and nokia x6
3)does divx/xvid videos play fullscreen....
4)are there enough free bada apps....

Anonymous, 07 Jul 2010i saw handwriting recognition listed in specs? how?when in message touch on the EN icon that also has globe with it(right hand side below the 123/abc option.you will see "predictive text" and "keyboard"(or qwerty depending on what you are using)touch on the keyboard option to open menu.there you will have 4 options -keypad,qwerty keyboard-full writing screen and writing box.the last 2 are the handwriting options.
