Hey guys i bought my Wave 2 days ago but yesterday I was sitting in the airport and was trying to use WIFI there but the WIFI got connected but wen i try to open any site it sayd request timed out.....
Please help me out....

Hi,
first of all, i think this is a GREAT phone. amazing screen and beautifully slick movement from place to place within the phone. very impressive
now, my question.......does anyone know of a way to customise the appearance of the menus, widgets and overall look of the way sections in the phone are displayed. there is a section in the Display menu which lists Themes, but my phone only has ONE theme. I'm thinking that there MUST be an app of somekind or some downloadable options, but so far i've not been able to find any!!

In fact, you have a 30-day free navigation, but after that you can only simulate your route. Google Maps is already installed on your Wave, and there's one or two more apps in app store which use the GPS function of the phone (like getting the current position). I'm eager to wait for NDrive for my country and Sygic GPS apps. Even though R66 is good, they are much better.

... moreits http://www.66.com/samsung/index.php?cid=IN&act=1 .. select the wave.. then go to downloads and download ROUTE 66 Sync (152MB).. install it and then download maps of your country.. for India, it was free.. would be the same for other nations too..
but one thing.. i could only simulate the route, but when i tried voice turn by turn navigation, it asked for some activation which didnt occur.. dont know why.. but still, getting the gps locked and seeing your position in the maps(which are quite good from route66) is fine.. goople maps application or some other nav software will soon be available am sure..

go to settings>connection>location>My position and check if the gps gets locked..

download route66 sync from their site.. then connect phone to pc and download maps for your region from here..
after thats done, GO TO SOME OPEN GROUND(please) and switch on Navigation and see how fast the wave locks on.. enjoy.. any probs, feel free to ask.. am from India, btw..

Plea... more1. Download the "My Location" apps from Samsung Apps Store.
or
2. Go to google maps URL from your phone browser.
In both cases, make sure your gps setting has been enabled by putting the green dot beside "location" under connectivity.
