Macke, 29 Jun 2010Have had my Wave for 2 days only. I totally love it. Ever... moreWave's battery life is very good. But first it has to in through some charge cycles.

Charge cycle means - charge your wave fully, use it, untill the battery drains completely; then again charge it fully, again use it untill battery drains completely.....

Repeat this cycle- FULLY charge and FULLY drain- and then you will get the optimum battery life time.

Let me remind you, Wave is the current battery life time champ.. With moderate use (3G and WiFi turned off, screen brightness set to 1- that is good even for outdoor use) it lasts 4 days...

    Wavezzz...

Hi guys. Does anybody know how to perform a hard reset or a rest to factory defaults (not the one from the menu, that one only resets a few things, not everything).
Wave is a excellent smartphone! :) ... but I need the default settings back without flashing :)

              [deleted post]Ok. Thanks again Jithin.

I think it is the Vista that is responsible for the long installation time. I really should have dumped that sorry excuse of an o/s long time ago :-/

Anyway as ABC has suggested, I will try to run it in the admin mode to see if installs faster.

Have had my Wave for 2 days only.
                  I totally love it.
Everything is as good as I expected, except for the batterilife that probably will be better after a few chargingtimes.
Have a problem though... The 3 keys at the bottom are no longer as distinct as in the beginning. The whole plate where the answering/hanging up - keys are located is very loose and gives a not so nice quality impression. The same goes for the middle key(meny-key). Same there, it feels very unstable and not as firm as the first day. Have only used it for 2 days, so this gives the whole impression a drawback. Will probably use the DOA-option and get it replaced in the store.
                  Anybody else have this problem..?

David, 29 Jun 2010Chris thanks very much, at last someone answered fully, app... morewhat i mean by not full flash is that the wave can only run flash program compiled on flash version 9. something, if the website use flash 10 (which have 3D capabilities), then wave will not be able to run it, also no other phones can run it now, but the next Android OS will be able to run, i've read that on some bada reviews.. it's not a big issue since only few website uses flash 10 prerequisite.. most are still flash 9 and below..

So that means I will have to uninstall Kies and reinstall with 'UK-English'? It takes ages to install (took one hour on my Vista powered Laptop y'day).

I hope I am able to get this right.

David, 29 Jun 2010seems no one reading this!!! can someone read below and try... moreUsefulness of the apps depends on the user using it.. some crappy apps for me might be useful for some, and vice versa. There are already utilities in the samsung apps store, just browse it and you might see something useful for yourself..

About the flash, yes Samsung wave does play flash, but not full flash or flash 10, try to see some reviews about it..
