You can not program unlocking feature in Wave:
Lock button (very convenient):
- short press - half lock (phone still in "sweep to unlock" status for a few seconds, screen power down and lock all the keys)
- long press - full lock (the phone locked and screen power down immediately)
Unlock:
- short press - half unlock (you need to sweep the screen to fully unlock)
- long press - full unlock (the phone is completely unlock)

This is one truly amazing phone...
and i got this in India for just Rs. 18000 which is like 315euros...
but its true that a huge app support for bada will take time and for now i m ready to wait for it..

Hi, after you install java programs on the wave, how do u run them? or do you just click on the java files every time?

8gb somewhere?, 25 Jun 2010does samsung wave really has an 8GB version? is it out yet?there is an 8gb version (black), but not out yet. you can pre-order at expansys.con. they won't charge your card until they actually ship the unit.

yes man u can copy the messages or move it to memory card ....
open any message >>> click the Puttom in the middle >>> chose (( Backup to memory card )) >>> u will finde it in (( my files )) .... now u can creat folder for messages in the memory card and move ur messages to it ... then delet ur message from inbox .. best mobile i ever had

Any one knows how to store text messages in MC? In phone only appears option SIM and Phone. In the phone the MAX is 1300.

I'm iphone user.
I'v tried this phone yesterday.
If I don't consider Apps.
This is best smart phone considerign price.
Better than iphone or gelexS
UI is also more user frendly than iOS.

bought samsung wave. having display problem. the screen keeps fliclering and backlight is not working properly. i tried settings in display and light , still same. any body has any idea hw to make it proper or is thr any special settings to do the same?

you mentioned that you can run 4 native apps and 1 3rd party apps.
what does that 3rd party apps mean?
is it a java app?
can you please confirm me whether we can install java apps in it from www.getjar.com?

In case anyone wants to encrypt files with a password (photos, videos etc.) you can use a program called MobyExplorer ...its a java program that samsung wave runs great. Now my phone is complete :)
