The specs hardware specs are pretty much the same, apart from the size of the screen, but the build quality seems much cheaper, and many reviewers have pointed that. Some articles say that the Galaxy has DNSe.

This model is top hit here in Russia Moscow. This is absolutely number one gadget in here with this handy and easy to use BADA opertating system. Price tag, number of feauters, variety of applications.. everything is just perfect. I only can imagine what's going to happen at the market when i9000 Galaxy device will be officialy announced in Moscow... Millions of samsung's devoted fans will stay in lines at the local stores in order to purchase this Android device first.

I have any issue.
Wave runs on bada os and some here have said like, it is possible to install java applications on it.
I still had a small doubt so i called the samsung customer care in india.
They said WAVE does not support java apps and you wount be able to use any of those apps on wave.
Can any one who own wave clear me on this thing?
If possible post a pic of some popular java app running on wave.this could clear many peoples doubt.

This phone is really good but a few things need changing the web browser isnt very good i prefer the n900's browser, needs better widgets and apps and not just bookmarks to the site like youtube.
The screen is perfect, sound quality perfect, design perfect, battery twice as good as any other phone 2 days heavy usage, Video quality when watching live tv via yamgo isn't the best even my htc hero is better but reckon that is firmware related.

Here in Turkey we do have a big problem with the camera of Wave. The camera places a big pinkish spot on indoor taken pictures, especially on white surfaces it's easier to examine this problem. Here's an example:

I called up Samsung and they are denying of any such offer.
I would think it would be weird to have a 1.5k discount as soon as the mobile is launched. And that too when it appears there is demand already.

gund, 25 Jun 2010i have call recording function in mine ........when u r cal... moreThat's exactly what it says in the Manual but only noise reduction/cancellation appears with the pop-up menu with my XXJEE(XEU). So it's FW related then like I suspect because some contries prohibit call recording. What is your FW, please?
About Battery Drains:
That's normal for new batteries. Let it condition first. Maybe 5 charge-drain cycles and it will improve performance. That is my experience with every new battery whatever brand it is.
For Kiew to work well:
You must install 3.5 .netframeworks. It is disabled by default in Win 7 (32bit). Enable it in the windows features. Must install also ActiveSync (6.5 or higher). Must install the latest DirectX. It equires also certain (minimum) screen resolution.

i bought this phone a week ago n very nice but when i receive a long text message it doesnt display the whole message just say "broken message" n i dont recieve the rest.....
has any1 else had this problem? will i need to exchange phone or is it a setting issue?
this makes me very distraught
