btw you said u got to download mkv files.. can u tell me the websites where we can get free downloads for mkv videos.

1) The reason you feel MKV files are not common because your C7 doesn't support it and so you won't even bother to search for that format. I download most of the movies in MKV format because of its high clarity compared to other formats of the same size.
2) Regarding the internal memory i agree C7 has 8GB but the cost of C7 is more by around Rs1000 at that cost difference i can get 16GB memory card for the Wave2. Now logically if you see Wave2 has more memory than C7 at the same cost.
3) Symbian of C7 is going to be stopped and all support for it will cease by 2014 but Wave2 is going to get new update i.e Bada2.0 and its app store is growing.
You would understand if you read my previous post that I am not telling Wave2 is better than C7 or C7 is better than Wave2.It is upto the buyer to choose which phone according to his/her requirements.
I don't use much of apps and navigation so i selected Wave2.

1) Wave2 has Auto focus camera, even though C7 has 8MP ca... more1. for ur 1st point, yes its true
2. screen of c7 is way better though pixel density is less. but it will give u better image quality and contrast due to amoled.
3. MKV files are not as common as mp4 and avi so no problem. u say that wave can play 4 gb file. but where u put it in ur wave 2? it only has 390mb internal memory for storing files and u at least need to have an 8gb memory card. in case of c7 it already has 8gb internal+32gb expandable+u can use usb otg feature to play hd movies from a flash drive dear!!!!
4. c7 only has 1200 mAH battery thats also because of reason. c7 has smaller display, less resolution, less power hungry amoled display and slower 680mhz processor.
moreover C7 has higher no. of free apps and free navigation + great video quality(as good as wave 2) and playback.
only advantages of wave 2 are better still image quality and better touch screen response.

I transferred video file from Cannon Isus 800 digital camera to Samsung wave II, but I am not able to play the file. The file is in .avi format. When I try to play I am getting unsupported media format. What could be the reason? Thanks in advance.

The Samsung Wave II is a truly amazing phone! Its camera quality is amazing and I really like the user friendliness. The Swipe text function is a joy to use and the applications make using the Wave II an unique experience. Highly Recommended!

I am using Gmail in POP3 mode and configuring it in this phone is very easy. I don't use Facebook or Twitter but i have seen some options in the phone were it can update the phone contact along with photos with that of your Facebook account.
Read the Wave2 review in GSMarena it will answer most of your doubts.

DoesntMatter, 09 Jun 2011C7 sucks man..laggy symbian n fixed focus camera with scree... moreu ever used c7 or u r just postin wht u've read in other forums ? my friend has nokia c7 whereas m stuck wid wave 2.When i compared both,i was surprised to c dat c7's touch response is better dan dat of wave 2 and i never saw ne purple tint on my friend's c7.If u're an app junky 4get wave 2 as samsung is goin to release wave 3 and bada os sux cos of low quality apps and very low number of apps and games.
