I read in GSMarena review that additional 500MB is allocated for messages. See the below link

Regarding memory card, when i purchased the phones cost was Indian Rs 16,000 and it had 2GB card in the box. Now i heard it costs less around Rs 15,000. Anyway 2GB card is not enough for this phone because watching HD movies is really superb in this phone, so i purchased a 8GB card by paying Rs 650.
So you should be lucky that cost has come down and in that difference money you can even buy a 16GB card which will cost around Rs1300, so don't worry about the absence of 2GB card just buy the phone it is amazing.

In the specifications it is mentioned that there is 2 gb internal memory and 2 gb memory card included free with the box .. i.e. i have 4 gb overall .. is it right ?? as i went to a shop today , there the attendant said that it has 512 internal memory with no additional 2gb card in the box !!! Please help!!!

AnonD-9880, 08 Jun 2011C7 is much better than wave 2.
1) Wave2 has Auto focus camera, even though C7 has 8MP camera it is useless because it has fixed focus.
2) Wave2 display pixel is more compared to C7 and size also. The only advantage is C7 has Amoled but then to it is not Super Amoled.Super Clear LCD of Wave2 is also good.
3) Wave2 supports HD formats like MKV and can play 4GB movie file. No conversion required.
4)Wave2 has better battery back up, it has 1500mAh while C7 is 1200mAh.
The advantage of C7 are it has USB on the go feature and free navigation. Wave2 has free Route 66 maps but no free navigation.
So if you want a phone which can play HD movies and of various formats, amazing camera clarity Wave 2 is the choice.
IF you travel a lot and want guidance to find route then C7 is the best.

Some1 told me dat dis Wave 2 runs in Android v2.3(dount) and its not a BADA OSed phn. . . Whats d truth? Whats the os of Wave 2? BADA/Android?

There is an option to switch from 3G to 2G network. Go to Settings - Connectivity - Network - Network mode.
In Network mode select GSM 900/1800 for 2G OR UMTS 900/2100 for 3G.
When you want to browse or make 3G video call only then switch to 3G network. By doing this you can get more battery backup.
