1. i tried looking into internet settings,but nothing seems to be working.
2.in VOD settings,idea_gprs is the selected option,whic i understand is the correct option.reflect please.
3.how do we change the resolution without effecting the quality much?

Few things h... moreI am using Wave1 from last three months, so here are my suggestions on your various issues:
1. I never faced this blurred images issue with my mobile so may be there is some setting problem. Try playing aroud with internet settings.
2. you may need to recheck your video streaming setting to get proper gprs connection. Go to Settings-Applications-Media Player-VOD settings and select the correct gprs profile for video streaming.
3. Wave supports resolution up 720p. Any resolution above this is not supported. So, check the resolution of the video you are trying to play. If its more then 720p then convert the resolution of the same.

Friends,
I am using Wave-2 for last 15 days.
Few things have started pissing me to extent.Let me share it with you and expect solutions:
-While browsing internet,images are very blurred,which is disappointing.
-I am able to use youtube succesfully while comnected through wi-fi but the same won't work when connected through GPRS.
-I tried to play an avi video file but it gave an error -"unsupported resolution".
I request you to share your experiences/provide solutions on the above three issues.
I am sure, many of you are really knowledgeable.

I'm choosing between Wave 1 and Wave 2 atm, anyone have any opinions on which one is better? I hear the sound of the loudspeakers in wave 2 is pure crap.

Friends,
i m using this phone for last 15 days, and few thing s worried me-
white browsing internet, the images are really blurred, which pisses me to extent.
also, i can watch you tube video while connected thru wifi.but if i try to do it thru gprs, it gives error
last,i tried playing an avi video file, but it said unsupported resolution.
please guys, try solving the issues

Anonymous, 06 Feb 2011i'm now using jet for more than 1 year and i'm now consider... moreWell the samsung wave 2 is built on the same platform as the samsung jet series so it will b an easy transition. Now to ur questions
1. Screen- The best screen thats currently. Only 2nd to samsung's own super amoled. Definitely better tha the screen of HTC desire
2. Camera- Very good at this price point. Despite being a 5meg snapper its better than many 8 meg snappers out there, the touch focus definitely needs a mention.
3.Battery life- Its pretty decent, it has enough juice to give u two days of moderate use.
4.OS Speed- Its right up there with the best. Its very zippy apart from a few memory issues, but that will b sorted out with a few firmware updates. But as v kno samsung is very bad at bringing timely firmware updates.
5. Apps- The app store has a decent collection of apps which are useful, cannot b compared to apple app store or the android market as the Bada platform is still very new.
6.Music- The audio quality is good wiht the earphones plugged but its pretty mediocre on the loud speaker, but it should b manageable.
7.Build quality- Top notch, its right up there as far as durability is concerned and the styling is concerned. I was personally very impressed with the design.
My opinion- Its definitely a great phone, good value for money, only backdrop is the Bada OS which though is top notch u cannot expect frequent firmware updates. The hardware is outstanding. Despite the s-lcd screen the viewing is stunning, I dont care what others say about super amoled, I would say the larger super clear lcd definitely acts as the best probable replacement for the super amoled which was stopped due to supply constraints..

i'm now using jet for more than 1 year and i'm now considering an upgrade and my main consideration is wave 2 and htc desire.
both have almost the same screen, camera, and other aspects (may be on paper) despite OS.
i've no experience in smart phones so let me clear something between these two phones.
1. screen
2. camera
3. battery life
4. speed of os and avality of good free games
5. music with headphone and with speaker
6. build quality and durability
and any other expert opinion.

hi everybody...
Planing to get this phone a day or two.
1.How is the signal capturing capacity because 2 month back i bought samsung duos b7722 and that is absolutely fine except signal strength which forced me to change to htc wildfire and thats also a very good phone but it does not have video calling facility .
So i am thinking of buying a touch screen 3g mobile with video call. OR another phone in this range (Max 17k) is good. Pls advise...

Finally i have my wave II. I have been using it since the past 4-5 days. Guys i must tell u this is an absolutely amazing device. I was very upset when the original wave went missing from the market.
Two of my friends have the original wave, the only difference if a little better viewing angle of the wave I. Otherwise, waveII displays more natural colors. Compared to the wave I, wave II looks more solid and beautiful. The phone is surely better designed that the i-phone and both have similar displays.
Guys i ordered if from e-bay when it was listed at 17150, since there is a vanantines day offer, i would get a Toshiba 250 gb external hard disc. Also, i would pay in 6 EMI.
Today the price is 16880, whoever is willing too buy it go for it before the valentines day deal expires.

i got it 2 day before and it is f***ing awesome .......
1. pepole says super amoled super amoled etc.... but s-lcd with 30% brightness is sufficient for me.....
2. some says wave 1 has wider angles but it also has nearly 160 degree or more...... but but let me ask you question why i have to view at wider angles if i buy it...
3. video quality ,touch , screen , speed,camera , recording , net all is just awesome..
one think more that i like specially to install , remove or uninstall a app it needs to touch 2-3 times screen...only really i like it

for battery 100% charge will consume if.....
1 hr video playback
3 hrs music
2.5 hr net browsing or downloading
1 hr general use
30-45 min camera
30-45 min gaming or other applications
30 min call message etc...
or somethings more for little time
means it can manage up to 10 working hrs in ur hand...or more also i think soo...
one more nice feature is its ""search"" as in apple ipod touch and iphones........working very nicely...
this is best device in this price money....

Which phone is better under Rs.20000 in Indy. How is Galaxy ace? Is it available here. Any other phone? Wave II may be good but it has many short comings.

Guys handset is awesome with all the features. but little less clarity/sound compare with music editions.
Solution :
Buy Samsung Champ headset and use, its extraordinarily superb with DNSE.
