yow people!! ive been asking this question and ill be asking this once again..,
is there any app for wave II that u can browse for free wth no WIFI.., like hacking opera mini.., i used to have it with my samsung corby before..,

Click 5 ( Audio )
Click 2 ( AP, Volume Config)
Click 3 (SPK Config, for loudspeaker)
Click 1 (MP vol, for music player)
Then when you click on a line "read" becomes "write" and then you can change the value by clicking in the white box (top left of the box actually)
Works well in Wave 1, have 80 db for the highest setting which is quite loud for playing mp3 via loudspeaker.
Maybe Samsung disabled this possibility in Wave2 because people have blown off their speaker setting value too high !! Another reason too keep my dear Wave1....

I had HD2 battery last half a day without wifi only few calls and 1 hr of music. I changed many phones in past few months starting from HTC touch HD, HD2 , iphone 3GS, Black berry 9700 bold my only question is how long the battery last during normal usage. atleast 3 hrs of music and 3 hrs of call min.

Wave II is failure to some extent. Because people expect something more from the newer version. It has nothing new except the bigger screen and lesser brightness. No software or Hardware enhancements. All the things are just the same.

hey thnx...but to tell u d truth i got this in... moreMy pleasure... but I reckon you are not very right about the deterioration of quality.
Even though Wave II S8530 does not have S-AMOLED or does not have more than 55DB sound volume, it is a inch ahead of Wave S8500 at least.
And you know why? You know apart from these two lacks there are some advancements in Wave II S8530 through few enhancements and up-gradations via software, firmware and hardware over it's previous version of Wave S8500, of course.

was planin to buy it but since its not available nemore so am lukin fwd to wave 2 now....but i guess samsung has deteriorated the quality....and increased the prices.....
but still i guess dis phn is better than other phones in this range...
