is there any app for wave II that u can browse for free wth no WIFI.., like hacking opera mini.., i used to have it with my samssung corby before..,

I have used wave 1 as well as wave 2. In wave 1 we can change the decibel according to our wish from 58 db default to even 100 db. In wave 2 this is set as default in 55 db. Even if you try 100 times this will not change. Only option is we have to write in samsung forum about this, or else we have to go to samsung service centre and check whether they can change. And to be honest only after change from 55 db to 75 db wave2 can be greeted as the loudest handset with good clarity and bass while hearing through headset.

Amit, 25 Jan 2011is there any APP to view/unzip zipped files (.zip, zrar, .7... morein the apps store theres an app called WaveCompressor.its for the s8500 but you could try it in the s8530 and see if it works.only compresses and decompresses from the phone memory though so large files or a lot of files fill up the internal memory pretty quick.

Can anyone please truely put some light on battery ? upto How many hrs. the fully charged battery survive while watching movies ? AS I am very close to buy this phone so will be very thankfull to you all. 8500 is truely great, colours and quality is awesome and can playback movie upto 12 hrs.

You can get many free Teams from the apps store .
Bada OS has no live wallpaper as samsung galaxy or motorola defy.
Is a good phone and the screen is shard and clear though it is not amoled

This phone is amazing! I am a proud owner of this phone from past 1 month.
Really I love it….!
1) Screen will rotate to 360°. Whichever direction u turn the screen, it will turn to that direction.
But in Nokia N8 screen does not rotates to all direction.
2) Wave 2 will play all HD videos (no need to convert). But N8 wont play AVI format videos.
3) Wave 2 will capture HD videos! Which are incomparable. Mind blowing.
4) Wave 2 overall performance is very faster than N8.
But Wave 2 lag behind in battery back. Which has to be improved.

I tried it 2/3 times but even entering more than 55DB it does not accept it in the 7th line. It remains at 55DB only.
But I wonder that who are you? You are not a general user!
