so and so, 07 Jan 2011guys its not good as s8500.the quality is very low refering... moreFriend, Did you ever use this cell?? if not, please don't comment. I hav both these cells and i can say both s8500 and s8530 are 'equally' good. its just that 8500 gives a wider viewing angle. Nothing else. Apart from that I feel 8530 is better in all respect.Of course LCD consumes 5-6% more of battery.I dont think thats a deal breaker.

There is no words to say about Samsung Wave II s8530.....its simply amazing and nobody beat this smart phone.

taksh, 06 Jan 2011are you sure? is htc desire good enough.Camera is vrey good, thumbnail issue (not as such any big issue!) is bada os related rather than the hardware being faulty,the bada os overall is very gud in looks as wel as perfrmnce,only thing i dont like in bada is the browser.
i personally had a prefrnce of waveII over htc desire in terms of display quality,camera quality,hd video recrding,audio output + the price of desire is much more also,i had also seen users complaining of desire's low battery backup!
the -ve pt abt wave is that only a 2gb xternl crd is given and the ph being bulky(due to the strong metal body)
i purchased this ph aftr much research,best value for money ph in the market, rest u decide...

ultimate thing.. just love it! pls guys don`t go by brand names like i phone and black berry, just buy samsung wave 2 to experience a new world of mobile magic,,,

[deleted post]Yeah.... u r right. Camera is more than excellent and there is no issue in it. Only images are a bit unclear in thumbnail preview which does not affect it's functionality in any way.

This blurry thumbnails thing is a software issue and will be addressed by Samsung soon. Those screaming "Replace the phone" are idiots who probably don't even own it.
I bought mine yesterday for 17,700 in AP. The phone's such a runaway success that its already out of stock in some places. Everything about this phone is good. I had apprehensions about super lcd but they are gone. Its simply awesome. Samsung Kies is also good, better than itunes infact(I own an itouch and trust me, I know)
Screen, features etc etc everything is good. The browser's just average though. I hope some more developers make some independent browsers soon. Samsung is giving the apps of the bada developer challenge free for a month. Grab yours quickly.
The appstore is small, but given the rate at which bada is growing, thanks to the wave I and the multitute of other smaller siblings, the appstore will be fully furnished soon.
Cam's awesome. Cam apps are great. Aug Reality games are also good.
In short, this phone is man's gift to manking. Buy it now or you will regret like me when the Wave I went out of stock.
