samsung wave super amoled is far better and more talk time than wave2,....wave2 looks habier and not slik like waves8500...and the popularity of wave is awesome..cant match with wave22.wave 1 is far better..

Hey is the fone available in all black or with grey strip...i thing the grey color looks fantastic on black metal....

The main reason for the popularity of Original wave 8500 is its screen and long talk time.
why should we prefer Wave II when it is much different from the original one.
So judge Wave II on its own merits.
I think it should cost Rs.15,000 in India basing on the features and OS.

Definitely s-amoled is better but not a factor to deem s8500 the better mobile betweenthe two.

hi guys,
Got Wave II (S8530) four days back. this is a super duper piece i have ever experienced.
I dont know why there is a fuss about AMOLED or SC_LCD screen??!!
SC LCD is very much smooooth screen and very easy to operate.
Camera picture quality is awesome. features and looks of Wave II is fantastic.
Am enjoying my new phone.

Incorrect Info about the LCD losing out only slightly to LED.
Please see the detailed research and test carried out by gsmarena itself between LCD, AMOLED, SuperAMOLED, S_LCD and CBD AMOLED for proof.
S_LCD needs a lot of catching up to do and is just an make-shift solution to the AMOLED shortage gloablly.

Its super duper awesome....
Nokia is nothing in front of wave i Swear guys its smoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooothhhhhhh...
I dont hate nokia and i still love nokia... but C7 lags in front of Wave 2...
No more comment will not be coming hence forth...
Aweeeeeeeeeeesomeeeeeee is the word...

Here in Thailand many dummy phones everywhere, but not a real one. Meaning the avalability is very near.
Obviously a very good phone, but that phone is HUGE !!. Cannot be put in my pocket.
Remember a few years ago when phones should be as small as possible (Panasonic G50), now they must be as big as possible !
Probably i will ditch all that big screen fad and go for smaller phones

It says: STANDBY 2G is 620 hrs
TALKTIME 2G is 13.8 hrs
and for SAMSUNG 8500, we all know its TALKTIME 2G is 15hrs
STANDBY 2G is 600hrs.
Dont shout in the forum unnecessarily.
