I Just got the Samsung S8530 Wave II at 18,500 in a store including all the tax or what ever it is..
Would suggest you to enquire in couple of stores and buy it instead of online..

I really don't get it.Just because the change in screen this phone became all bad and wave I is superior.Its just a friggin' screen!Every thing else is just the same.So if you say Wave II is bad then you mean Wave I is bad too.And the people complaining about its high price surely go and buy a Nokia 1100, they deserve that only. Who else gives you such a large display with 16M colors and 480x800 pixels, a 1Ghz processor and outstanding audio quality.5MP autofocus camera with autofocus and led flash?

The online price of Wave II is Rs.19,000. It seems this phone is excessively priced. The Nokia C7 with almost the same features is available for Rs.18,000. Even the original wave was available at Rs.17,000. So think twice before buyng!

Hi friends!
The main advantage of Wave 8500 is its screen,long talk time,slim design.
The Wave II is much different from the original one. It is not Amoled.So judge Wave II on its own merits.Don't buy it basing on original wave's popularity and performance. Why should we buy this phone when Android phones are available for much cheaper price. The BADA is not growing up well.
I think it should priced at Rs.15,000-16,000 in India basing on the features and OS.

Guys what is the use of comparing two waves when samsung wave s8500 is not in production! wave 1 was out of stock 4months back!
please update us the hands on experience about wave 2.

I used S8500 and I must say it was a good device with it's S-amoled display. However 3.3'' is not large enough to watch media on it even you have a super super display. So I have just bought S-8530 (display is 3.7'').
even Wave-2 (S-8530) has a large display then the wave-1, I should say super clear LCD is not good enough super amoled. ın the S-clear lcd the colors are something different; i may say colors are not shown natural. Also the contrast in s-clear lcd is not ok for me, after i saw super amoled. but sound and functionality of Wave-2 is better and one.

why should we prefer Wave II when it is much different from the original one. And it is not Amoled.
So judge Wave II on its own merits. Don't buy it basing on original wave I performance.
I think it should cost Rs.15,000 in India basing on the features and OS.

guys..whether i should go for c7 or wave 2..am totally confused..c7 has amoled wch is better than slcd.but wave has 1ghz procesor whereas c7 only 680mhhz..screen is bigger in wave & even the battery capacity.symbian 3 or bada..?guys please help..

and dont compare super amoled to lcd screen...super amoled consume less power than this normal lcd screen....i have the s8500 ...its far awesome than this.and more popular noumber one in gsm arena..and its more slik and talktime far better than s8530.....wave rocks.super amoled looks far better than lcd....s8500 is king of bada..
