Anonymous, 11 Dec 2011Plz help me i am very confused between lg optimus 2x, wave... morethe fact is optimus offers strong hardware if consider wave s8600 and also its os is android, and the truth is without that much great hardware offerings s8600 definitely beats optimus by its performance that way of its multimedia file handling like HD video playing and gaming. And bada 2.0,except its apps availability it is a step ahead of android by it strong security and high end graphic handling capacity and no more complaints reported yet,in the case optims failed totally by its glitches and problems. If you want to get too many applications you can choose optimus ,if you want to enjoy real graphic experience you should choose wave s8600.

The only thing that I do not like about Bada is that it's really like TouchWiz for Android. I mean, everything is like Android. I just wish they could get some creative minds on this project to make something that could make it unique. Having that said, I do still find this OS attractive, well, with a price of 280 euros, it's quite cheap for a 1.4Ghz handset. And being a developer for bada is quite great, since you can upload apps to samsungapps for FREE unlike Windows Marketplace ($99/year), Android Market ($25 one time registration fee) and finaly iOS ($99/year).

I have used the Wave 1 with BADA 1,2 for awhile now. I will not buy this phone as there are huge limits with the APPs. After almost a year there is still no angry birds or skype or google maps that works with gps or 'whats app'. All my friends with blackberry and iphone, android have 'whats app' but i can't so i have to sms and everyone laughs how stupid the phone is because of that. My next phone will be a iphone or Android. If you want cool apps like 'whats app' and games etc, look elsewhere.

for me bada is very easy and convenient to use. maybe it still stand behind ios but definitely better than android or symbian. look i am talking about the os not the apps. yes bada 1.0/1.1 have some minor problems but 1.2 corrected them mostly

the only thing i found less attractive in bada is the dolfin(2.0) browser which is still not so impressive, hopefully the 3.0 ver will stand out this time.

hardware wise wave is the best in the market, the metal finish is better than plastic on other smartphones. but metal do have its pros & cons compare to plastic, its very slippery, not much grip, heavier, more expensive when it comes to changing a damage housing. the internal parts; cpu, ram, display, etc are on par or above its competitors

design wise i think it can be better, i like other smartphone designs compare to wave, maybe because of the color finishing or the overall buttons/ports/camera/jack placement.

the apps part has the most complaints from users. but i think these come from much younger users ie; 15-30 age group. for adults i dont think its an issue because no matter how many games/apps/utilities you have in the market the most we need is around 20-50 i think. and in this 20-50 apps most are available in all markets ie; ios, bada, android, symbian, windows etc.
