Samsung to unveil new Exynos SoC next week; Galaxy S9/S9+ clear FCC
Earlier this month, Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 845, the SoC that'll likely power Samsung's next-gen S series smartphones in the US and China. The rest of the world, no points for guessing, will get Exynos-powered Galaxy S9 and S9+.
Well, the next-gen Exynos SoC that'll power these flagships will be made official next week on January 4. A recent tweet from the South Korean company effectively confirmed this.

No official confirmation on what moniker the chipset will carry, although reports so far say the name would be Exynos 9810.
Anyway, moving on, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ meanwhile have cleared the FCC in the US. Sadly, the FCC listings don't reveal anything related to the devices' specs or design, but still, the development signifies everything is on track for the flagships.
As per recent reports, the handsets are set for an MWC 2018 unveiling. For all Galaxy S9 leaks and rumors we've covered so far, head here.

I hope they'll make a successor for Exynos 7270 on 10nm LPP too. Dual core A55 with tweaks and we may approach 5-7 days battery time for wearables.

I was, till after I saw them devolve after s5. S7 was my last Samsung and I kind of hate that they forced me away, by becoming apple.
