Whilst i love the phone (this is my 3rd Samsung) i am on my 2nd phone, 3rd battery so far (had it just over a week now-think Carphone warehouse are sick of the sight of me!)-Battery is the worst i have had on any phone-usually running out within 24 hours. Over the weekend it stopped texting altogether and would only write one word before saying 'please wait' and then resetting itself. Not overly impressed so far!!

when the phone has incoming call, does that touch-sensitive buttons work (answer and reject) ?? or that must first slide-up ??
and i heard taking photo with this phone has a long time (5-6 secs) cause of it's autofocus, is that right??? and is this normal for all autofocus phones ??
and for it's menu, is it possible to download theme ??

To Martina, who's worried about this phone forgetting words from the dictionary - all Samsung phones do this. As do Nokias. In fact, the only phones that remember every single word entered into the dictionary are Sony Ericsson phones. The reason Samsung phones forget words is because they have a shared memory - with the exception of any external memory, which is only used for data storage. The memory that the phone operates on is shared, so the more words entered into the dictionary, the more it will forget as it has to get rid of old words to make room. Also, the more texts you have in your inbox and outbox have an effect on how much the phone will remember. Trust me, this isn't a fault. It's just something you will have to learn to live with - if you decide to keep the phone.

the phone wont make calls by itself when you put it in your pocket, because it automatically locks when the keypad slided back up; to unlock the phone, you have to press the middle i button then then press the power button on the top of the phone, and another thing samsung did also; because the 2 touchpad buttons on the screen are so sensitive, when you make a call the only way you can cancel the call after is when you press the middle i button to unlock it to either cancel the call or handsfree and/ or other options...
it is kind of annoying in the begginning though, 'cause it is really sensitive...but once you get used to it and use it more...it actually feels very nice and sleek have touchpad buttons...i totally recommend this phone!

I bought this cell few days ago well the first dam frustrating thing abt this is when i keep it in my pocked, due to it's feather touch buttons, it places calls. well i solved it by locking the key pad. Moreover when i connect it to the pc i cannot transfer any files directly to the memory card. i.e i have to copy to the cell internal memory and then transfer it to the memory card. if someone knows how to solve this prob plz post a reply...

I'm planning on getting the U600 because of its Document Viewer Function (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF)... how well does this function work?
- can you view the document on the phone?
- can it connect and stream to a projector?
- can it support office2003 and/or office2007?
Thkz^^
