Video is cif 355x288, but worse than with the other Samsung, because of the thinness of the phone the camera is not good.

i want to buy u600, but here is oppinions that are opposite whith each other about touch-sensitive buttons...

one says it's good because the sensitive buttons don't work if accidently rub to the face during call and one says it bad because works during call...

          at last, which is right???

Before you buy this, be aware that the touch-sensor button gets very annoying since you push them by mistake without noticing.. I changed my phone to noka N73, and I'm much happier. I only liked the samsung cause it was thin and light.

i got this phone for my girl about a month ago when its released in asia .. first week of using myself .. i felt that the sensitive touch keypad suck as its too sensitive till a soft touch can bring u back to main menu and everything you typed is gone ~

Yes, battery life isn't great but if you are used to charging your phone every night then that'll be fine for you. It only lasts about 3 days for me and I'm not a heavy user.

yep, main keypad (numbers etc) isn't touch sensitive.

I really like this phone, but is there a problem with the battery? I am a school girl so I charge my phone everynight so it should be able to last at least a day, right?

Also, are the numbers touch? I know the call buttons are but I would have thought that the numbers were buttons that you actually press? Like the Motorola KRZA that I have at the moment.

                        Thanks!

I wanna buy u600 but few things I need to clarify bfore that :
1)Is the sliding quality good in this phone?
2)Is SUMSUNG offering any warranty ?
3)How is the battery life of this phone ?
4)How is music quality of this phone?

well the 1000mah battery from the x820 works in this phone so yes. youl get a minimun of 30% increase and a maximum of 45% better then nothing:P

hi, i definitely like the phone. great looks, nice feature set. my main concern however is battery life. seems rather short for a great phone like this one. one questions - does samsung offer a higher capacity batter for these phones? also does anyone else find the battery life is too short?

I've got the U600 and I think it is a great phone, the reason the touch sensitive buttons don't work in a call or after dialling the number is so they don't accidentally end the call if they rub on your face, if you press the I button first that you use for the menu and then the touch sensitive ones they come back on. It is kinda like a key lock. Samsung have done a fantastic job it is a cracking phone.

                                      1) you can set the phone to ring and vibrate at the same time but only for calls, not for messages.
                                      2) the level of vibration si reasonable for such a slim phone, and the ringing level is enough to be heard in a noisy place.
                                      3) with a memory card its a great music player.keep in minde it's a phone not a IPod.

I'm thinking about buying this phone as well, but have a couple concerns since I already have a samsung phone that I have some problems with.

                                        1) Do you have the option to hear the ringer and feel the vibration at the same time?

                                        2) Is the ringer loud and/or is the vibration strong?(my cheap samsung slider has a really soft ring and a weak vibration so I miss almost every call)

                                        3) Is the phone at least a mildly impressive music player?
