This phone isn't -entirely- about the looks, but that's the main thing. It does have a 3MP camera, bluetooth, expandable memroy etc. so it's not jsut a fashion handset. However, if you're after a practical handset I wouldn't suggest this one anyway - the touch controls can be hit and miss and a bit of a love it/hate it feature. Also, as it's so thin and made of light weight plastics it's not exactly the most hard wearing of handsets. Nice looking phone, just don't expect it to look so good a few months down the line.

Can you set the phone like with a SE phone to save the photos to the memory card?

The phone is very slim and stylish. If you like slim phones this is the one to get. if you dont use wifi or 3g this phone will do everything else for you. THE FEATURE I LOVE MOST IS THE CALL REJECT WHICH BLOCKS ANY NUMBER WITH A BUSY TONE NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES THEY CALL YOU. Its not call barring which blocks all calls it just blocks a particular number. Try it out if you have some really annoying callers.

This phone is all about looks. Using it is a real pain, i just sold mine. Price is going down fast, because people don't recommend it to other people....

regarding call waiting option, pls. inquire to your network service provider if it offers call waiting option. Nothing wrong with the phone, it is always call waiting ready.

hi can anyone please tell me how to activate call waiting cus i tried doing it but it keeps saying not done and deactivates!

Have a problem with my phone. Everytime I dial out at the bottom of the screen it'll say "Unlock" and then the call fails. If I press the unlock button fast enough the call goes out if not it doesn't work. Anyone know why?

I am very happy with this phone. It is thin, lightweight, looks very sleek, great sound quality, and has lots of features. The downside.... heat sensitive pads are very sensitive and can be annoying when pushing center dial. Also the speakerphone is a little on the quiet side, and pushing the lower buttons (* 0 #) can be difficult at times due to the high ridge. I give the phone 9 on 10. i would love to try U700 but it only has 20mb embedded memory or is it 30mb

thanks,I will try again but I am afraid in those packs of games there is only the .jar.And I can't understand why once I have filled the 1gb card with music and it appears as OK, the music does not appear in the mp3 player??????BUt they are there! they do not even appear in the samsung pc studio screen.HELP ME!

How to install jave games on to this u600:
1. Transfer the .jad and .jar files to the phones memory to the 'Other Files' folder.
You can transfer the files from Samsung PC Studio's 'Phone Explorer', or just transfer it straight to the memory card and move it to 'Other Files' from the phone's menu.
If you don't have a .jad file, you can download 'Jad Maker' (google) and make a new one.
2. Exit all menus and type in this code: *#9998*4678255#.
You should now get a 'Activated' message. Java install is enabled.
3. Go to the 'Other Files' folder and select the .jad file (should be 1kb).
Press 'Options' (left touch key) and you should get a 'Do you want to install' question.
Press 'Yes' to install.
4. To deactivate Java install, simply type the same code again.
You should now get a 'Deactivated' message.

I bought this phone some 5 days ago. Great features. I particularly love the smart search feature. Very good addition to the excellent phone. Every other thing is ok too. Just have to get used to the touch sensitive keys.
Meanwhile does anybody know why MP3 songs set as message tone will not play the full song before going off? That's the case with this phone or is it me that didn't configure this feature well?
Please if you know how to make the full song play when there is in coming text message, do let me know. Thanks a-bunch

hi everyone!
I just got mine in fuchsia pink too;it's juts sooo beautiful.Hate the sensitive keys but...it's what I wanted: light, superslim,great screen, mp3 with quality, radio and slider.BUT, no way I can put game sinto it, I have been using that code someone mentiones in a forum to activate the java stuff....but as I have a 7390 nokia, the games automatically convert into nokia applications and puf!, no readable by samsung!
And the batterie is ridicuolous.I'll need to buy an extra spare one if I use the mobile for mp3 in summer!

I am loving this phone and have had it just over a week. I have it in the candy pink which is gorgeous! It is replacing my D900 which I also loved but can now really tell the difference in the quality of the sound and images... not to mention the weight. The touch buttons are the only thing that annoys me a little bit, but I can live with it. Thank god samsung have finally gave us a radio too :) I'd defo buy one. Not liking the silver though. Jenna

Does anybody know whether this phone will allow you to set that the message alert is both 'Tone & Vibrate', cos so far I can only see that it will only allow you to set the message tone as either: Tone or vibrate or off, no option for having both....
