Got this phone for my B-day. Fink its absoelutely great. Theres not one thing thats bad about it. Only thing is, the battery only lasts for bout a day and a bit.
AND, there is a constant GPRS sign next to my signal.
Anyone know how to get rid of that? PLZ

The built in speaker is made by Bang and Olufsen, who are legends in speaker/amp design and performance. You can judge for yourself whether that makes it good (it does!)

I found the u600 the most esiest fone to use in the world. the 3.2 mega pixel canmera is fantastic plus with the auto focus it is fantastic. the only down side to the fone is the touch sensitive kep pads can be a bit annoying at times.Other ways i would say that the mp3 player is even beter than on any before ss. Also i liked the sos message that you do have a choice to use ss has went all out on this phone Abosoulte Amazin.......

this phone is a real stunner as for looks. the battery is not great. it will max last for one day. the sound system is much better than before. The major plus for this handset is the display. it is by far the best i have seen in any mobile till date. mail me if u have any other questions.

Hi..
Anyone trying the pc studio with the U600?..does it works well?..
In managing files or multimedia manager app, you can't see all your files that are on yur memory card..
Is it normal?..
1st time i'm been using samsung phones that's why i'm a bit lost..

great camera, screen and looks but texting is a proper PAIN!!!! why have they changed a formula that works with silly drop down boxes and daft sending options, after a month im still finding it nothing but hard work!!!! i have swapped SIMs back to my D900!!

why did they mess with the t9? i've had d600,d900 b4 this... t9 was brilliant,now i have the u600 and it has this idiotic suggestion stuff, i hate it, and so far I've only been able to disable it for 1 word at a time, any1 know how to completely get rid of it?

I have plans on buying this phone.I have only one question.
How is the speaker quality when you recieve calls?Like mp3 song as a ringtone.
I had D830 and it was a nice phone but the sound was horrible!

this phone is of the highest quality and the volume is very good, dont listen to anything anyone else says buy it trust me you will love it. The 3.2 mega pixel images are very good quality as they take up nearly 1mb each! so you can tell how much detail they must have on them! xD

I got sick of waiting for the U300 so I just got the black version of the U600; wow, it is a gorgeous - a girl on the subway said it was "the sex".
Phone performs very well, and the 3.2 MP camera is a lot better than I had expected. It's not cybershot, but takes nice crisp images.
Highly recommend.

Hmm...nevermind. I searched in Dictionary.com and apparently the word "dialled" is a British way of spelling "dialed". I guess I can live with that.

Did anyone notice the word "DIALED" is spelled incorrectly? It's spelled "DIALLED". I tried calling Samsung to get support. I wanted to know maybe they knew about it and hoping they have an available update to correct it. But unfortunately they never even heard of U600. They said its not an American phone so they don't know how they can help me. I asked if there's a toll free number to call to get help for international phone...still no help. They just told me to search online. *siiigh* Does anyone know who I can call or know how to correct this? Please advise. Thanks so much =).

no slider tones on this phone but to change clock you must go to wallpaper settings and press right changing the selection from them e to custom

the media player is very good and if you sync with windows media player you even get a little picture of the album cover of song you are listning to! you can go through artists, composer, genre and have your own playlists

this phone is completely wicked and i love it! it takes great pictures and you can have mp3s as message tones, vibrate and ring at the same time :o but the only themes are black and white
