As a former user of Samsung (x700) phone, and before that Nokia (3100), I'm again back to Nokia (6233). I'm just realising that the specs on paper and the real performance are totally different things. Samsung are making fashionable phones more for decorations and specs, than for real pleasure of using it. There a lot of specs, but poor intagrated together...

Sorry for the bad spell in the prev post.. I'll try again: :)
Is it normal that there is a "fuzz" sound in the background, when a ringtone or keypadtone sounds? It seems that i can hear the loudspeaker "turning on and off", or is it only bad default ringtones in the phone?

Hi, Is it normal that there is a "fuzz" sound in the beckground, men a ringtone or keypadtone sounds?
I got my phone yesterday and may return it... It's def. not a crystal clear sound when a sound is activated in the phone.

Reading all the reviews on here.. everybody got different opinions... But those who are really into their fones, expect the best.. so they will criticise the minor faults with this fone, but for those of us that just want a fone without all the techno mumbo jumbo, then i rate this fone! The picture quality is good, not perfect, but then again its not a digital camera, its a fone, but it does the job u expect! The buttons are ok, yes the touch screen is sensitive, but just take extra care as to where u put ur fingers when holding the fone. Battery power varies depending on usage, but thats understandable being such a thin fone.
Over all the fone is great, i have no complaints with it, nothings perfect in life, and this fone is the same! It has the looks and all the features u could require from a basic fone! I recomend it to anybody that is interested in it!

you are either wrong, or my handset is faulty, because i turned the indicative tone off and still get the messenge sent tone
what you said about the incoming call stuff is irrelevant because i am talking about incoming texts, and that sound menu doesnt allow vibe and ring. that it doesn't bother you is none of my concern, and just makes you look childish
some other people have mentioned the alarm problem when on silent. this is a big pain for me too
another thing is the vibrating batetry to tell you your battery is flat. if i turn it onto silent mode i'd like a way to eliminate that vibration, which is doing nothing other than running the batetry down more
