To Sue:
Okay, bit of a downer, but I can live with it :P.
So it's kinda like the old Sony Ericsson phones (with the drop down-menu).

Does anyone think that the camera is extremely poor for a 3.2mp? Great phone otherwise!

To Katrine,
The alternative words appear in a drop down box and you have scroll through them to find the one you want.
Its taking a bit of getting used to and I prefer the other method of pressing 0 until you find the word you want.
To those changing - its still a lovely phone!

To Sue:
Sorry, I don't have the answer to your question. But if the words don't change when you press the 0/+-button, where do the change then?

When the phone contact list is empty obviously I can see only contacts stored on my SIM card in my contact list. When I add contacts to the phone contact list it replaces the SIM contacts in my Phonebook.
How can I make the SIM contacts visible all the time and phone contacts hiddedn?

About the battery, so is it right that you CAN change to another battery to get a better battery level? And does it come in all 3 colours or du you have to pick one?

Have had this phone less than 24 hours and the display has developed three dead lines going across the screen. Is there any way to reset the display or am I going to have to return the phone? Grrrr

I've looked through the post but can't find the answer.
Previously had an E900 - loved it. Changed to U600 but in the predictive text how can you change the settings to press the 0/+ key to change to different words instead of the drop down menu of various options? Its driving me mad.....

anyone else having problems with the pc suite ? i have windows vista and its not compatible.i managed to copy my mp3s using windows sync, but i cant copy jpeg files. i now have alot of photos i cannot transfer. also i found that the 1gb memory card i put in doesnt distribute the 'memory' around all of the applications, so mms inbox is still limited space. cant find an option either to choose a download location.on my old motorola k1 there was an option to choose if downloads automaticly saved to phone or memory card.cant find one on this. not convinced yet to keep this one or stick with my k1

Had this phone a week now; battery life is poor, the 1000mah samsung x820 battery improves performance vastly!mp3 volume as ringtone is terrible the default tones play much louder unfortunately so ring tone, message tone and alarms are all better using the default tones. Build quality seems good apart from the slider spring which is exposed when the phone is open and looks flimsy. A problem waiting to happen!
Overall it looks good performs adequately but is no vast improvement over earlier samsung models I am tempted to stick with my old robust D600 and use this as a backup!
