does anyone know if it still has the old samsung standard specs like when receiving calls will it just be vibrate then m elody. not simultaneously?

it does have an fm radio. you just have to look on the picture. why don't they put it in the features of this phone. you can see the picture here http://www.mobile-review.com/exhibition/2007-3gsm-samsung-2-en.shtml just look there is one picture of u600 and on it you can see that it has an fm radio

I can't wait for this phone to come out. Hopefully by the middle of March this phone is going to be available for purchase. :)

This phone does have flash and autofocus as seen by pictures on other sites.

Correctimundo !! This phone does have a flash I have since discovered.
Someone has found it on the website - www.mobileburn.com and I am so pleased. All I need to know now is about the touch sensitive keys and I am 100% sold on this phone (thats if they are not tooooo touch sensitive ha ha).

Hello All,
I wonder if anybody can help me. I am due to upgrade in 2 weeks and this phone is due for release through o2 on 9 April 2007. I was going to get the D900 but now I have been told about the U600 I am swaying towards this phone. My concerns are whether this phone does have a flash with the camera and also whether the keys are touch sensitive?? I find the keys very difficult. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Are those touch-sensitive keys.. Hope not, cause if it works as f*ckedup like my E900 this ain't gonna be my new phone!!
Ps. What about the u700, are those touch-sensitive??

Cheap plastic desing,keypad seems to be nice,the camera features are poor without flash and autofocus,i would rather stay with the Model D900 or buy a E840 .thanks

before this gets released.. Samsung do yourselves a favour and read below.....
1) Allow the user of the phone to remove that blasted great big date and time bar that goes across the screen.. its soooo not needed.. why do you think people have watches.. this is the number one reason i wont buy your phones.. i dont want my wallpapers with the head of people missing.. wallpapers are important to people!
2) Make the phone automaically store the txt's sent in the sent items folder.. so i dont have to do it!
3) Put the date and time of when i sent or recieved the txt's on every txt!
4) Give us a Micro SD card with the phone.. Sony are giving them with their phones!
5) Change your menu system to something a bit more flashier.. something like Nokia's!
6) change your txt'in to the same style as Nokia's..
Do all of this and you will have a total global domination of the mobile phone industry!

I don't understand the cellphone industry, we are in 2007 and still, companies are comming out with the latest blows and whistles. Try to upgrade your damm screens to more than 262 000 colers for once. thats sooo 2003!!! At least Nokia has got something right..

According to mobileburn this is coming out Q1 2007, so within a month and a half.
Good timing for samsung, my D500 is starting to feel old.

Didnt they take that out and replace it with the 'ok' button a long time ago?
