I finally have my U600!!
I LOVE L.O.V.E. L-O-V-E the touch sensitive buttons of the phone! I got mine from a Samsung authorized dealer in Greenhills, Philippines. The only color left was red and I can't wait to buy, so I got no choice and bought red, but I am definitely happy with it! (I am a guy, but the red looks maroon or perhaps very dark red, imo)
The slider is not wobbly, but in case it gets wobbly in the future, I have my 1 year warranty.
I am doing my initial charge as of now so I can't use my phone. =( I plan to charge it initially for 12 hours.
The phone feels a "toy" for me rather than a "phone," because it has fancy color, very slim and weighs only about 85g (not sure).
I am very much satisfied with my first few hours using the phone. The touch sensitive keys do not bother me at all. You have to accept the fact that touch sensitive keys DO NOT HAVE TACTILE FEEDBACK. You just tap it like what you do on your mousepad in your laptop. Imo, many people expect the touch sensitive buttons to have tactile feedback and this is the reason why they get frustrated using them.
I am really certified samsung lover now.
Lol.
For those who consider fashion without sacrificing the function, this phone is the bbest choice!

hey guys. i got the u600 a week ago and am getting paranoid about the slide function. it seems a little wobbly, is this a problem with the handset in that it could come off???

is the garnet red color suitable for a guy? It is not really bright red. It is dark red, perhaps maroon..

The audio is to low when playing back songs, can't save any file straight to the memory card, picture quality of a receieved picture is poor and the touch sensitive buttons are to sensitive. I move from a Nokia 6131 to Samsung U600 only to get very low audio and poor picture quality.

I have this phone kinda it has 2 more touch sensitive buttons though. Any idea why you dont have the one in the list i have?

Hi! I've got ti for 10 months now. So I'll just tell you things I don't like:
1. No profiles for ringtone settings, so it's sound or no sound options that I only use.
2. The headphones are really uncomfortable but you can only use the ones that come with the phone.
3. The touch buttons are a little too sensitive so you can accidentally touch the C button while navigating threw menues.
4. The battery life is poor.
5. You can lock text messages or files for example, but you can't lock the phonebook.
I would give it 8 out off 10.

does the u600 screen cracks like people say for d900??? i want to buy d900i but i dont know is it truth that the screen brakes so easily. did anyone have problems whit the screen braking???

you can't use 3.5mm jack, use the supplied earphone.
i guess you can't use a strap on it
the phone can hold up to 2gb micro SD (though they recommend transflash memory card, it doesnt help playing mp3's that fast to playback)

hey, the delete button is also the hang up button, and it has a "C" under it, meaning clear, so just tap that to delete a letter when texting..take care!

i got this phone last night n i've some questions about this phones.
1. how to use a earphone with a 3.5mm jack(not the one in retail box)
2. how to put a strap and where.
3. how to portect the front screen and the body from peeling.(mine is black)
4. what size of memory card can i use(i want music but i don't like slow response)

the only thing i don't like with this phone is the slider has become wobbly and the battery life is very poor.
