i read ur comment below n mt phone came with headphones :S and also i want to thank you for ur comments on the phone they are quite halpful! i know i had the phone but if anyone needs advise go to RAFASAN because unlike BRENDAN, he gives you the postive and negative points...not just his personal point of view!!!
anyway BRENDAN-you need to lay off...most of what you are saying is true but just say it once! dont repost the same thing again and again and again and again and again....etc and RAFASAN knows also what he's taling about so stop swearing on here and things...its a phone site not a chat room. if RAFASANand BRENDAN want to argue DONT DO IT ON HERE ITS A WASTE OF SPACE!!!

Hello,
I would like to ask something.
I found the U600 in white color at some shop and I was wondering if its the original samsung because when I asked the official distributor here they said the don't have it in white. Samsung never produced it in white.
Whats your opinion?

And yes the u600 has one of the worst battery lives on the market at the moment...the only thing it really does well is look good/

Have this phone for 3 weeks now and loving it. Only problem is Battery life is very disappointing 40 HR max and I am not a heavy user. Anyone else find this?

to all the people that say if you want a quality camera "buy a camera"
what about all the people who work in jobs where they require a phone, and a camera, and a calendar, and a calculator, and a notepad, and bluetooth.... Do we go out and buy all of those things??? NOO!"!! WE pay £150 for a device to solve all these problems so we dont have to carry all of these things

The camera is terrible for a phone of this price. you are paying for the design not performance... If you want blurry images with subjects that are moving in the shot... Buy this phone, if you want good pictures that are processed quickly DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE...

You must really have a sad life if a phone "makes your life unique" I think you really need to get out more, maybe try a different phone and stop being a little samsung fanboy. If you want the slimmest slider in the world and a phone that looks good.. BUY THIS.. If you want a phone with a great cam and great all round performance...This is NOT it!
Before anyone asks, i have owned this fone for almost 5 months and am not happy with it's WELL BELOW AVERAGE battery life, Slow access to memory card (and i mean REALLLLY slow, almost 5-6 seconds to play a song from memory and the same to change between tracks) It's well below average camera, processing and shutter speed is probably one of the worst on the market at the moment.. Great if you taking completely still shots and nobody is moving for around 4-7 seconds.

Hi for all who needs to buy U600 wait for some more days.
Bcoz samsung comes with U600P with some new features.The hardware size shape everything same. The only difference is Maeron color and some new features.
I used it for 5 mins. Everything remains same. But in menu instead of Bluetooth google application is there. In Testing centre they said some bugs is U600 is solved in this version. I posted one bug before they promised they'll solve that also.

I do nt think there is any way to increase the speed . But it will work faster if you use 512. But i think it is better to buy a 1 gb card. now a days 512 is nothing. And i think the slowness is not a big problem.

you said that it is "Slow with 1 gb card".. so does this mean that it would be better if I would just use a 512mb card? But of course the storage capacity would be compromised.. especially that I want to store a lot of music files.. Or do you have any suggestion so that I can use a 1gb card and the phone wouldn't be too slow.. tia..

Yeah I know there's no Symbian OS but I figured somebody out there may have made a few java applications for it at least...
About the flashlight... no I don't mean flash, but if you slide your phone open and then hold down one of the volume buttons, you'll notice that a flashlight comes on. This is a pretty cool feature for if you're in a dark place or walking to your car or trying to find a keyhole in the dark. But mine only stays on about 20 or 30 seconds. I'd like it to stay on for about a minute at least.

What are you talkin about man. Dont you know it does have a symbian os. It only supports java files. I tried once to istall a java application using gprs. But it didnt work.
Flash - I think there is no way to turn on the flash light for a long time.
Can you guys tell me how it works with moto s9 headset. Plsssssssss i really need to know.............. or suggest me any other good headset for u 600.

Yes Music can be played outloud. The battery is fairly ok with radio and yes the phone plays video in those formats.
Still nobody has been able to tell me how to get my flashlight to stay on for long periods.
Does anybody know where I can get some good applications for this phone?
