It can play 3gp and mp4 video files. Dont worry you will get a softw with the phone retail package. You can change the format by using that samsung multimedia manager.

turn on the camera> press the right selection key> choose the setting option> then video>then set the default storage to memory card.

Hi, I am interested in this phone.
But I am worried about whether I can put movie in it.
Can someone tell me if U600 can play 3gp or mp4 movie? (the 3gp or mp4 files are greater than 50MB)

Oh gosh my u600 came today and it is GREAT! I love this phone it's soooo pretty. The features on it are great, ok yea the camera is a bit slow, but it's a cell phone, if you want a high quality camera then buy a flippin camera! The quality of the pictures are great, it's just the time it takes to take a pic but who cares? Besides that it's soooo amazing! I got the red one and I think that by far it is the nicest colour! Anyways I just wanna say thanks to everyone that answered my questions on here, they really helped me make the decision to order this phone and I'm so glad I did!

Does anybody know how to make the flashlight on this phone stay on for a long period? Mine usually only stays on for a few seconds.
And for those of you that didn't know, YES this Phone DOES have a flashlight which can be activated by sliding the phone up and then pressing and holding down either of the volume keys.

Sam what ever does will remain no 3 as it has no OS what ever it may bo worlds thinnest flattest or day night effects. Resale is terrible and nowdays its fonz tend to be femmine.Still cnnot readfrom mem has to trtansfer to fone to use can not watch fullscreen foward n card mode.Its screens be too beautiful,but but but its SamSung n the End

I think 2gb. But it can hardly handle 1gb.
It becomes very slow. But except that everything is cool about this phone.

i was told by salesman if i throw fone it would come back ..... he lied and now i take him and my broken fone to court ... if i can find it

I had this phone for four months and it was fantastic no problems, except the camera is a bit slow. But other than that it was the best phone i ever had.. until i lost it :(
But yeh great phone! I miss it lots
