Because i and all u600 users ( except you) know its a great phone. Its a bit slow it doesnt matter that much.

someone help!can i transfer files directly from the computer to the memory card?if my files are larger than 60mb and cannot fit into the phone memory,how do i upload them directly to the memory card?

I can see by many of the reviews that MANY of the users never owned any high end phones, have no connection with reality and technology. And do not even use the features that make this phone competitive to other phones. Why not mention that the bluetooth on this phone is complicated and needlessly counter intuitive. Why do I have to pair with my headset every time I want to use it? Even after the headset is paired, it unpairs after five minutes of non use? It makes it very uncomfortable and dangerous to use while driving. Especially since I must unlock the buttons before I can even pair!? What about about the horrificly slow memory card recognition? I created sub files so that I would not have to wait to load my entire memory card before I can select from it. But even so, the phone reads from the memory card abnormally slow for a phone released in 2007. The battery life is another matter in itself. I have never encountered a phone in my life of using cell phones that had such poor battery life. The camera and video are pretty decent, not great. But using the camera is painfully slow and obscure. Had no problems with the touch screen. Sending text messages is not very easy, but at the same time not the worst I have encountered. If you are used to texting on Motorola's you will be unhappy. This phone is also quite fragile. I had a crack the first day I got just from having it in my pocket

The name card recognition for whoever asked is the one truly awesome feature on the phone if you are a business person. Get a business card and take a photograph off it using the feature and it will log all the data off the business card onto your phone just by tacking a photograph off it.
Still dont buy the phone!

Please don't be fooled by any good reviews of this phone as it is truly awful!!
The phone does what it wants too and mine has now pakd in after only a few weeks of normal every day use.
Choose another phone not this one!!

@ TeRê yes you can still navigate the phone while the music player is running and you can even navigate the phone while the FM Radio is running too.
Also to people that have had problems with files, use the Samsung provided PC Studio software. File Manager and Media Manager have everything you need to to deal with files on the phone and it will allow you to put files into their appropriate folders on the phone. These folders also have lists as to what files they support that shows up in a caption when you either select them or place your cursor over them in Media Manager and File Manager on the PC. If you use the software correctly you should have no problems

Oh and to you nameless guy there's I didn't answer all of your question. No the phone does not make calls if the touch buttons are touched in your pocket. when the phone is closed and in your pocket all buttons are locked, and can only be unlocked by sliding the phone open or pushing the power button at the top of the phone. And like I said before, during a call the touch sensitive buttons are locked, so they won't get accidentally pressed by touching your cheek so you'll have no problems whatsoever. Hope this helps man...

nope nope. cos it will automatically lock when u are talking on the phone. unless the other party puts down the phone if not u are safe (: go get it ! im having fun iwth mine now !

i want to buy this phone but i have just one question. if i put it in my pocket, does the touch keys diall number on its own? and if someone called , does it answer if i hit it by mistake in my pocket ???? plz answer

Dont listen to the last guy, he doesnt know what he is talking about. I transfered my music and photos from a N73 on a 2gig microSD (with miniSD adapter) across to my new U600 and the files play without a problem. Everything takes a little time to learn how to do. He probably didnt bother, Dont blame the phone.

This phone is rubish!!!!! i bought it and had to sawp it after two days. none of my pictures or music would open on the phone! It may look nice but the features are rubish. do not buy

its a nice phone. I have it in white. The name card recognition is extremely accurate, not a phone i might flip out often cause it feels quite fragile. very neat layout. and the price is well. good phone i might say 7/10

Try to send ofice files to other files in phone memory through samsung pc studio.
It will work . I tried it once. Its cool. Samsung rocks......
