I kinda like this phone and I'm planning buy it next month..
I just have a question.. does the phone has a loudspeaker for us to listen to the music without the headset.. TIA..

This phone is very pretty.
It's got all the functions you need
But the thing is
You can't play Music at the same time and look at pics / play games
neither can you play games and talk on the phone
if you dont mind
this would be a great phone for you.

My samsung U600, does not display duration of all received, dialed numbers.. It only gives last call duration. But my last E730 gives that function.

I can't view picture one by one in memmory card. Is is fault with U600?, Also I can't play songs one by one in memmory. Please Help Me.. Is U600 have any Signal Problems? Thanx.

how can i upgrage the cam response of this fone?even worse than the slowness of cam of n73 and shuuter of n3250.,pls help me hoe to upgrade

I got a brand new U600 as a gift about 6 weeks ago. Being a die hard samsung mobile user (all my previous mobiles have been Samsung) I was really excited. However the excitement soon fizzled out on account of the following faults I noticed with the phone:
1) The slider is really flimsy and shakes when you try sending an SMS or using the key pad.
2) The touch sensitive buttons on the facia panel are too sensitive and not user friendly
3) About a week ago my display started flickering(akin to a tube light with a faulty starter). I took it to the Samsung service station who diagonosed the issue as a faulty display and then it seemed after much cajoling, did me a favor by replacing the display under warranty (for a 5 week old phone).
4) Apart from the above the general build quality is poor albeit the phone is pretty good looking.
All I can say is following the above issues and poor experience with their service centre, sadly I do not think that I will buy another Samsung mobile phone and am looking now to switch either to the Iphone or Nokia.

It cost 11k-12k if you buy it in ordinary shops with no warranty. and i think 14k-15k if u buy it directly in samsung.

i think this phone is really good but imhaving troubleconnecting to the computer. can u help oh and can i put the pictures from my mobile to the computer?

I have this phone in pink and I really like it. I was really excited when I got it so I bought a plastic hard case thing for it but then took it off now it's so scratched up. I only have a problem with how fragile it is. Oh yeah! And I wish they had a spot to put phone danglies on it.

You can turn on the speaker in ringing phase itself no need to wait till B party picks up the phone.I think u hate samsung mobiles or you dont know how to use mobile.

Try using the speakerphone on this mobile. First you have to dial the number, than you have to wait for the other end to pick up, than you have to unlock the buttons and than select options, than you have to select speaker on. Why in the world is it so difficult to select the speakerphone? Try doing this when you are driving. You will go crazy. Why do you have to have to wait for the other end to pick up before you can even BEGING the steps to turn the speakerphone on. It is the craziest thing I have ever seen.

HEEEELP..., i'm havin problems with my contacts. each contact is saved with more than 1 number ( home, mobile ,etc...) but when they call the home or mobile sign doesnt display next to their name, by that i never know if they're callin from their cell or home or office etc....i know i can fix this problem by creating a contact for each number alone, but that really sucks and will take alotta time...i dunno why this phone doesnt have this feature, many old phones had it, so PLZ if any 1 has a solution tell me!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you think its rubbish then maybe there was something wrong with the phone when they gave it 2 you .. which happens with everyphone.. but if you get it and there is nothing wrong with it.. you will find it is AMAZING :) , as soon as you touch this fone you fall in love with it .. everyone has there own opinion.. but almost all the reviews here love this phone ! so i would advise you, if you're looking for a stylish phone with amazing features.. go for this one.

Yeah this one is reall awesome mobile. Please those who has better phones please put ur comments there. we are really satisfied with this.
Name card recog is really a useful feature. U600 really rocks.
Really i recommend this mobile to all.

I am trying to assign videos as ringtone, but the option for doing so does not get highlighted in the menu. Is it a software issue? Can u set videos as tones? Please help

Can you buy face plates for it or does it come in the color you buy, I got one as a present and its alittle scratched now because of my son. I was wondering if i could buy like different faceplates or what not.
